I think MSU is in a unique situation right now because the existing official cannot resolve simple problems like the security of its students, power tripping of admin officials, water/power system, adminstration ect tho' they are saying it is peaceful in the campus because there are PNP/military presence within but what the heck you may ask yourself why is it that the government is taking over the state university? it is because there are things that needs to be corrected not specifically the academe but I believe the university administration itself.. I read in the paper and on TV that there were some mismanage funds that is suppose to go the scholars but then for some reason there are people who would like to eat the bigger pie in the allocation.. but we don't know that is why the new President is stepping in to CORRECT the system and then maybe after a year turn over it to the new President can come in with the clean up sucession from the military person and it does'nt mean that the General which is the newly appointed President of the school is not capable of running things.. slap in the face to who are tryin to question this guy.. give him a chance to prove what is his capable of... this is always my impression that IF there are new processes or changes in a governement agency like this or let say in SSS corrupt people will ALWAYS resist because it will affect their personal fu8king interest.. that's the way I see it. I dont know but your such a disciple of GMA. Name names. Cite the year and the month. Cite a particular case about MSU. MSU is by far a respectable institution which not even a maggot like you could destroy it.

I used to have a scholarship offer in MSU-IIT pero wala ko ni eskwela didto kay mahadlokko.. wala ko ni eskwela ka layu sa akong pamilya.. MSU produces good graduates, professionals no question about that. Karon lang gyud they need to investigate and resolve "issues" (you might know but I don't know what are those "issues" and asking wny the gov is taking over a state university?) kamo naa mo differences duwa but wait and see unsay results ani nga move sa government.. some resist but naa may power and president mo appoint ug kinsa mamuno diha pero by the time they will find out and resolve the "issues" hala segi kadtong gi pang nominate that re very qualified to do the job can take over and start from han ay na nga state university.. DI BA mas OK and plan? nga ingon ana? away mo pag away please give them a chance.. ug nag work mos MSU nya affectado mo consentrate lang mos trabaho unless ma fire mo hehe

Hey... even small instituition like a state university has always a problem of power hungry people... I know that coz my bro works on one of the state college in mindanao... its a problem of all state universities and colleges... for a long time MSU is no exception.

i have no plans of destroying it, it was on the brink of being such thats why the gov't has to meddle na. and i don't name names like you do quoting on news clippings. the only thing i know is based on what my cousins who graduated from that school and my bestfriends mom who retired from the same school, are saying.
