I don't think that Mayor Tomas is doing the right thing, but here's the thing I think vipvip68 is right, this is a publicity stunt, a display of power-- Tommy boy is sarcastically showing everyone he's got GUTS and he's daring anyone to come on, throw a punch to his GUT.

i dunno man but is there a comparison? i mean, mayor TOM has the upper hand with their current feud over Ciudad, right? in fact, i'd say the mayor's got nothing lose now that the election is over. the governor can have those who "illegally" occupy the province owned lot removed.. who gives? there's no need to swap those millions worth of prime city property over a lot that's got plenty of legal issues. not to mention, the governor doesn't have any city projects to stop so the mayor and his constituents can suffer the same fate as those students and residence in lahug. it's harsh to punish people who are in no way connected to that "poison" letter distributed allegedly by MADS.
