If you have an enthusiast level knowledge of pc parts and systems then no store in Cebu aside from Arctech and Insotec can deal with you at a level you are accustomed to. However, one drawback to enthusiast shops here is that since their inventories don't move as fast their pricing may tend to be out of date. For example, I called up Arctech one day to ask if they still had a Athlon XP 1700. To my great surprise the very amiable and accomodating lady on the phone answered in the affirmative. When I asked how much, she said 4100. Now at this time 2100+ were selling for exactly the same prices at known business oriented stores. A call to Insotec about a popular enthusiast video card yielded the same result. Now mind you these events are completely understandable and don't diminish their reputation for great customer service.
That is why dili nako madada anang mga no-clue ug usahay arrogante nga sales person ug techie sa ubang tindahan. Kibaw man ko unsa akong gusto mao nga musabot na lang ko nila. So for an well-informed enthusiast, PC Quickbuys and Thinking Tools are not that bad. Mao ni ang gi-ingon ni Mr. Ryan nga mahug na lang ug Do it Yourself.
About the AMD thing, musabot nako sa ubang tindahan nga gagmay kay ang lisod sa Athlon karon dili lang nimo matarong ug butang ang heatsink, goodbye na. If you don't have clout with your suppliers then you bear the loss or pass it on to the buyer.

Very good observation Gabriel . With this regard, we apologize for the late price adjustments. Actually, the 1700+ is at 3,500.00 now, with 1 year warranty and 3,800 with 3 years warranty and has to be bundled with an ARCtech approved motherboard. Same goes for our 2200+ since 2100+ isnt available. P4,850 with 3 years warranty and has to be bundled with ARCtech approved boards.
The prices of our Athlons & Durons are guided by the sole approved distributor of the Philippines which is ASIANTECH Manila. We have a Certificate from them proving the authenticity of our products(See below)
One things for sure, our prices will not be as low as processors from the grey/black market but our warranty is provided by AMD, our training is provided by AMD, all our products are researched, updated and tested by highly skilled ARCtechnicians, all of this to reach our goal of providing the ultimate system/products to let you achieve overkill customer satisfaction
ARCtech will soon be moving to its new home to be able to cater and give support to our steadily increasing clientele.
