I distinctly remember there being a hate thread of sorts here in iStorya. This time targeted at Koreans. Guess we have our share of racist pricks.

Grabeha sad nimo bro uy. Singaporean Chinese are so bad and lazy but who owns most of the companies that are hiring Filipino and Indian workers there. Aren't they also Chinese. And who allows foreign workers into Singapore? Isn't is also Chinese Singaporeans? If you say 75% of Singaporeans are Chinese then you also need to accept that these are the same people most responsible for the progress their country has made right? Not to diminish the contribution of pinoy OFW and Indians to their economy, but foreign workers were not around when their country was still developing and are only there for the high wages that now exist after all the sacrifices by the natives have already been made in the past.

I think lack of children in Singapore is a common problem in rich, developed countries. Japan and Spain have the same demographic problem but anyway what disturbs me is you seem to have no problems with our OFWs going to their country to work but at the same time can't stand Chinese. As you yourself said, if Singapore is 75% Chinese and as you say some OFWs hate Chinese and can't stand their laziness then why are they there? I think the truth is most Singaporeans and Pinoys get along just fine and it is people like you and like-minded racist Singaporeans who are inciting racial hate. And if you think Indians are less racist, then LOL...

Inya katong serviceman nag nagpadala sa bag sa maid, is that worse than our General who had to be carried from the boat to the shore? Perspective man... Perspective...

dugay na ni ang racial descrimination sa singapore oi.
even before SG become a state back in the 50s and 60s,
grabe na ang racial riots sa una between malays, indian and ofcourse the chinese..

and i cannt blame the sinkies in blaming the Pinoys, look at what some pinoys did to Orchard road, dira sa gawas sa Lucky Plaza.. pero like what the other said, gamay ra ni na fraction sa ila ang maglagot sa Pinoy oi, lets just chill and also thinks that we as ourselves kay sometimes racists man pd dependi sa situation..

Grabeh gyud kaayo Bro. It started with Lee Kwan Yew as Prime Minister of Singapore na invite nya tanan mga kaliwat nya na Chinese to prevent Malaysians to rule Singapore kay sa pagka tinood ang Singapore sa wala pa abangi sa British, usa ka parti sa Malaysia or part na sa Sultanate of Johore Bahru. Mao nidaghan ang mga Chinese. As part sa growth sa Singapore, I do believe that Pinoys also contributed to Singapore during those time because LKY and Marcos are friends and once asked Marcos to send his best architects and engineers to Singapore. Some companies owns by Chinese Singaporean because they were encouraged by their gov't to do business and even supported them financially through loan. These people hires Pinoys and Indians because they only accept low salary, the same thing what Gaisano did. Kanang sa contract nimo reported to MOM ang imong sweldo kay 3000.00 SG$ but ang tinud-anay sweldo kay 1200.00 SG$. Do you think maayo ang mga Chinese Singaporeans? Naa mga MNC diri sa SG tinud-anay man gyud mohatag ug sweldo, pag 3k ang declared salary sa MOM, 3k man gyud imo madawat unless you are working with the gov't kay for sure sakto imo sweldo.

I was once a victim of Chinese Singaporean racist, one reason is that I'm taking over their job in which they cannot do.

Mas ok pa atong general kaysa ilang serviceman though gipadala sa maid ang iyang bag, ang naka faet kay dala niya iyang make-up. maayo unta na combat make-up dili pa gyud make na papula sa aping. Dako na kaayo na issue sa SG.

Well you had a bad personal experience with a company there but that doesn't mean all their companies do this. If this is as common a problem as you say it is, then why are OFWs still wanting to work in SG? While you're probably right about Marcos and LKY and the contribution of our engineers/architects, I think it's a stretch to extend this and then claim that those professionals were more responsible for their success than the people who make up 75% of their country. There's no disputing that at that time, our country was far more developed than they were.

LKY and his ministers have always had the highest respect for foreign workers in their country of whatever race. I don't dispute your claim that racism is rampant in Singapore, but that only makes it more important for people who are in their country as guests to keep the high moral ground instead of descending to the level of racists and engaging in a flame war with the racists on the internet. Because if you do this, who do you think has the most to lose? The Singaporean racists or OFWs like you? You play their game, you fall into their trap.

Some OFWs gone home with no work being offered. Standby nalang, mao na ang uban gusto sa SG kay dali ra sudlon with no visa and you can stay up to 30 days then you can extend another 30 days besides pwede pa gyud ka mo exit sa Malaysia. You can stay as long as 6 months. Secondly, barato kaayo ug sweldo dri sa Plipinas compare in Singapore where a dishwasher can earn more or less 40,000.00 pesos. Diri sa Pilipinas 40,000.00 pesos sweldo na sa manager while didto sweldo na sa dishwasher.

I don't fck with them... I'm currently connected with an MNC owned by a German.
