Magpale was reading the same financial report which made her decide to release P30k Christmas bonuses, which is P10k more than the previous year.

So the province had money to increase the Christmas bonuses last week, and suddenly one-week later bankrupt na?

Maybe Magpale made the province bankrupt.

Or maybe she is just electioneering - giving bonuses to employees who have great pull on the voters - while declaring the province bankrupt (even though she just spent a lot on bonuses) to destroy the name of One Cebu name?

This is already politicking and smear-campaigning at its worse.

Or maybe Magpale is the one who caused Cebu Province to be bankrupt. Maybe it cost a lot to padlock Sugbo TV, rob all those rented tents, and increase the bonuses of employees.

Maybe she just used wrong accounting principles and just relied solely on cash flow because she had plans to use the cash to fund her own campaign and campaign of LP, so she was disappointed to find out Cebu Province's assets were not as much cash as she had hoped for.
