It depends... For convenience, I'd go for a laptop.
For sheer power, nothing compares to a desktop.

if your always on the go or travel buddy ka.. LAPTOP lang pili-a. if gaming or heavy multitasking ka and mo upgrade ka within the next years.. go for DESKTOP..

i have both, and although a laptop sure is convenient, i have a soft spot for my desltop... bigger screen, faster response time and no need to worry about batteries!

Between a desktop and a laptop (or notebook computer), I would prefer a notebook. I'm tired of all the wiring behind desktops.
