Nvidia's GT700 series was rumored to run on Maxwell which is to be launched on 2014, if they launch gt700 series this 2013 big chance it will be rebadged/refreshed Keplers... my thoughts lang...

GTX 700 series sa nvidia is expected to be a continuation of kepler. Maxwell won't be around till 2014. As for the rebadge its a common practice even for Nvidia to rebadge, especially sa mobile/OEM. But Sea Islands isn't one of that or at least that's what they are trying to say on initial reports. Sea Islands is more of an enhanced/tweaked version of Northern Islands ( HD7xxx ). It actually makes sense. Nvidia is sticking on kepler, no reason for AMD to release another family. Their Northern Islands lineup can still compete, they need some enhancements though on the power consumption department.
