Definitely YES!! TS, 60% of the carnapped motorcycles here in Cebu City alone got recovered due to the constant PNP checkpoints scattered around the city including holdapers, thanks to our diligent law enforcement operatives, the only drawback is when a certain motorist failed or forgot or whatever reasons he/she said on the failure to comply registration, expired license, or tampered or modified motorcycles altering road safety, this is where the evil minds of certain operatives begins...we filipinos are prone to hangyo2x, palu-oy2x, and bribery, correct me if im wrong pero mao gyud na kasgaran akong na obserbahan, some operatives take advantage on this scenarios, pero kung complete lang gyud tanan ug street legal lang gyud inyong mga motor, i guess wa na gyuy lusot ang mga operatives, besides they are doing their duties for public safety.

simple, to stop if not limit the carnapper incidents here in cebu.

1. Word of mouth - As a concerned citizen if you sense some people or sometimes your neighbor or your friend doing such acts please dont hesitate to report to the authorities, together with a picture of a stolen MC or the picture itself of the person so that our authorities can place them in surveylance or their hitlists, one problem though, ARE WE READY TO ACT LIKE ONE?

2. Discrimination - People with this kind of mind set-up dont deserve to live and roam around the City, If all of us will just try to discriminate them in such a way nga ma contrast na sila mismo sa authorities, by and by they have no where else to go but to jail or the cemetery This is where CITIZEN ID SYSTEM Implies, Kung naa pa lang ta ani nga system....Question is WHEN...

3. Fight Crime Shoot Back - This only implies to people with special authorizations in law enforcement, There`s a lot to mention, kamo na lay pili kung asa mo comfortable...No one will attempt to do those acts if it endangers them in return...(Human Instinct of Survival) In this case we need to promote a law called THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS, Question na sad is WHEN.....

Check points must be done more frequently, nya proper training pud sa mag conduct og checkpoints. also mag deploy sila og checkpoint sa mga bukid2 kay most of the carnap vehicle esp. motorcycles kay naa ra na didto gipang baligya kay gi himo og habal2.

check ra jud na sa mga papers not just driver's license. apil pud nila OR/CR. di kay kanang mag sita2 pa. kung naa bay mga extra neon lights, tambutso saba, etc etc. kay klaro man kaayo nga pang kwarta rana sila. let the LTO handle this thing para di sd kaayo ta ma delay sa atong mga lakaw.
