if naka on ang iya system restore during the infection, reformat nalang ang solution ana... unless you risk corruption system if imo i off ang system restore kay inig delete sa AV mawala naman to ang infected file...
ang system restore ang mag sige balik sa infected file, kay ang system restore will backup all system files regardless if infected o dili...
and also when running AV run it on Safe Mode atleast naay mga service nga dili needed nga naka off kay usahay ang virus/worm mosakay na sa mga services...
better format the computer... when copying the backup its better you use a liveCD (any linux basta makadagan ug liveCD)... you can even run it on USB...
once nag reinstall na ang OS if off ang System Restore before installing any application....
when reinstalling i usually follow this steps (clean installation)
1) Install OS
2) Turn-off system restore
3) Install Anti Virus and Firewall
4) Install application
Note: Internet connection should be turned on after step 3

after installing application boss salbahis? turn on nsad nmo ang system restore? salamat sa info boss...![]()
naa may removal tool ana bro, pero if naa mo gamit usb then infected kay mo balik ra gihapon.
try searching brontok removal tool.
restart pc , run in safe mode... run Noob Killer.. and Viola!! patay tnan!!
if pang office lang buh ang gamit sa computer... and persistent ang virus I think suggest lang using Ubuntu nga OS (latest version now is 12.04) to sum it up it's a "poor man's mac" ang learning curve is very easy.
advantages:
it's faster
It's free (quick check from amazon today windows 7 ultimate: $168 )
lifetime free updates
thousands of free software (naa sila build in nga software center for this)
Automatic security updates ( norton[1user]: $8.44, kaspersky[3 users]:$17.65, McAfee[3 users]: $12.99, of course there are free anti-virus like AVG and Avast pero it's kinda "limited")
free office (libreoffice) (microsoft office business 1PC/1user: $150)
for more info you can check their site Overview | Ubuntu
disadvantage (from personal experience)
unless ni gamit ka ug "special" nga hardware and/or software check lang the compatibility, I'm a photographer and using specialized software and hardware nga di siya compatible with linux (ubuntu) only mac and PC or limited supportpero naa siya alternative then again you have to learn that specific software. As for hardware auto update siya most of the hardware, I have a monitor calibration device and a wacom... ang wacom ni work ra man siya, not perfect but works fine no problem, and for my monitor calibration device although since 11.04 karon which is 12.04 ni sugod na man siya ug kita ug support pero did not try to tinker with it(kapoy nah). my solution kay ako gi dual boot with windows then gamit ko sa monitor calibration then get the profile then import it sah linux.

OT Gamay:
ive tried PP on ubuntu... its a pain in the a$$ naa tana to alternative sa LightRoom sa ubuntu ok na tana destructive mana ang editing, even if they say its not ambot lang... unya libug sad kaayo ang mga tools.... but ug mag PP sa mac wala ko kita issue beside sa price...
boss, naa bay monitor profile sa mac nga pwede ma mabalhin sa pc? kay ako mac diri sa office calibrated man gud gamit sa mga video editor
naay lain solution use linux, any flavor run it as liveCD or LiveUSB, then run anti virus im pretty sure naa jud anti virus sa linux... since most virus dili man mo dagan sa unix system...
