Hello, are there any doctors or interns here? Or any medical practitioners? I badly need your help. I know that the initial onset of symptoms after HIV infection would start to show within 2-6 weeks after contact. I also know that the initial symptoms may include fever (38 degree C or up), body malaise, sore throat, rashes, diarrhea, and swollen glands.

I had *** with a prostitute last July 14 and started having low grade fever adtong July 23 until now. Is it too early? Inday2x ra nga fever. My nose feels a bit congested but wala koy sore throat. Nag diarrhea ko, it started ganiha tungod kay wa koy tarong kaon since monday tungod sa paranoia. Wala koy swollen lymph nodes, there's a bit of body malaise tungod sa fever. I used condom during the intercourse, in fact I used 3, in 1 session. I know dili ma transfer through saliva ang virus but iya ko gi bj without the condom and I'm still a bit worried.

I wanted to go to the hospital and have myself checked but as I have read, ang antibodies for HIV mugawas ra after 2-3 months, sometimes up to 6 months so the test may give false negative results. It may be too early. Based on what I stated above, what are the chances of me having the virus? What are the possible infections based on my signs and symptoms? What else can I do? I need your help please.

Yes, nag condom ko. My only worry was when she gave me oral *** without it. My fever never reached 38, low grade ra gyud sya. I thought to myself, this is either caused by viral or bacterial infection. So I decided to start the antibiotics, if mu effect sya meaning bacterial ra (HIV is a virus). After the 2nd day of antibiotics, nawagtang na akong fever so most likely ni effect sya and it might have just been a bacterial infection. However something came up. As soon as I started the antibiotics, nag diarrhea ko. Persistent ang diarrhea so nag decide ko magpa admit na lang. Naa ko sa hospital ron. It could be stomach upset tungod sa antibiotic, or it could be one of the signs sad of HIV. Sa karon I cannot have myself tested pa kay it's too early to get tested. What do you guys think?
