Nahuman na nako ning suikoden tierkries sa DS mga 2 yrs ago. Nakasulay ko duwa Suikoden 2 sa PSx pero la nako nahuman, Suikoden 5 pud sa PS2 la pud nako nahuman.

Just finished downloading Suikoden 1 & 2 for PSP, just started playing Suikoden 2.

I have finished Suikoden 1-3, currently playing 4 and just acquired 5.
Don't like Tactics tho, hasolan ko dula hehehe.

I consider Suikoden 2 to be the best one coz I kept playing it over and over during my highschool days--even as far as completed everything it has to offer: from Clive's sub-quest, the Best Ending, Speed-running, all items in the castle shops (pero naay intervals, I know), unlocking Tir Mcdohl, and my personal favorite--BUILDING TANK CHARACTERS! Bwahahaha
And no, I never used gameshark or PAR codes when I did it (wala man koi GS disc or PAR) The thing also like about the 2nd one is how much you beef up your characters and formulating the best results for the final battle in L'Renouelle. How so? Well, you can try the Fortune rune trick for one--it's my favorite thing about the game. Farming your characters and beefing up their stats is a bit tedious pero it's all worth the trouble in the end.

My Last Suikoden 2 Party:

Front Row: Sheena, Killey, Hai Yo (no BS, Hai Yo gyud akong gigamit)--These 3 I built like Tanks. Levels are around 70+ (close to 80, I think) Total def of each character is around 190+, attack is close to 250 each, all 3 character have 3 open runes spaces with this setting:
Sheena - H:Exertion, Lh: Double-beat, Rh: Double-strike.
Killey - H: Rage, Lh: Double-beat, Rh: Double-strike.
Hai Yo - H:Rage, Lh: Double-beat,Rh: Double-strike. <-- Gi-tarong nako ni iya TECH kay sloppy hitter siya sa sugod.

MAX Lvl tanan ila weapons, ang gave them heavy defensive equipment that could reach 150plus total in DEF. and 90 in Tech. Atay lang kau si Sheena ug iya Star Earrings dili matangal.

Back Row: Hero (lvl.81), Luc (around lvl.78 siguro to). No 3rd guy. These 2 are my "medics" with Luc also providing cover fire with the Lighting and Wind rune I put in his Rune inventory.

Same gihapon sa ila inventory and equipment. Maxed out. Hero has plus 120 in def. and plus 100 in att. Luc has 140 in attack and 170 in def.

When I faced Culgan and Seed with this party, they didn't have the chance to hit us. Bisan na nag-magic seal pa si Culgan wala gihapon gamit. Killey and Hai Yo alone can generate damage of 1500 per. hit with my settings (both characters use dual weapons) AND with double-beat rune that's 4X per character AND Double-Strike (x.5 on attack power) Killey and/or Hai Yo can generate as much as 4500 damage each. And that's just 1 turn--BERSERK pa gyud sila tungod sa Rage rune. Sheena is just extra damage (around 1000+ single hitter man sad siya) Katawa ra ko kay patay na sila sa first 2 rounds and wala pa gyud ka-damage sa sila sa akong party kay dako kau ang TECH (likayan ra gyud hehehe) I didn't even use that much magic defeating the last boss in L'Renouelle--except healing pero di man kaayo madutlan ang party (like I said, I built them like Tanks)

I just love Suikoden 2, hehehe

mao na ang main character sa tierkries bro, kanang lvl 99? grabeha gud ana og level bro... hehe. taas ra ang duwa sa tier kries? muabot og at least 50 hours? naa naman ko file nga na dl ani nga game pero dragon quest 9 paman akong gi duwaan sa DS. excited na sad ko muduwa ani dah!

Yup Mao nana kana 99 bro, dali raman ang exp niya kusog2 sad na dugay ko Kay nagpa 99 lvl ko it took 41 hrs 3 days nako gihuman hahaha, pareho ta bro pag release sa 4 naguba na ps2 two weeks after nako malampos ang 3. Enjoy playing ug update pud bro hehe magtigum pako Nya palit kog ps2

To be honest, back in highschool when the game came out me and my friends who were playing the game (along with Suikoden 1) were so into it that we started formulating those simple (yet tedious) tricks since wala man mi anang gameshark or PAR or cheats. Hints ra gyud and we used to share some tips and think about how to outsmart Suikoden without codes. hehehe

Ditto the Level 99 trick, as well! But pwede raman 70+ imong characters sulbar na tanan problema. If a character would reach Level 65-up, all 3 Rune Spaces will be unlocked. But only for that specific character--that's how me and my friends thought about the "Suikoden 2 Tanks" method. All we had to do was just fill in the blanks hehehe

In my case, I first played the game fair-and-square and finished it (about a month gyud to,hehe). But as time passed by, I tried the many different ways to finish the game. I even had a trick to make Luca Blight eat his own words by bashing him with all 3 group parties--meaning, wala ko nawad-an ug character during the 'epic' 3-part battle with him. Intead of him goin' "You're all pathetic pigs!!" I made him go "Hmph, not bad for a ragtag group. . ." hehehe

The method does take you a long time to do PERO chuy gyud kau ang resulta--especially my "Tank Characters" trick. At the last post I did mention that Killey and Hai Yo can generate up to 4500+ damage, right? Well I also forgot to mention that with the level of TECH, AGI, DEF and the Rage Rune (Always Berserk) those two--Killey and Hai Yo, would have a 93% chance of getting a Critical. AND those criticals can also happen either ON or BEFORE the Double-beat rune kicks in. So Killey and Hai Yo can have a total of around 10k EACH in one turn IF Critical. Sheena can also do the same pero not as much damage as the other two--I think of him more as backup hitter/finisher character. With these Tanks with me, technically I can finish the game with just those 4 characters (the 3 Tanks and the Hero) Ako lang gamiton usahay si Luc gud kay taas2x pod siyag MAG (his my "fail-safe" character in the game)

Yup, those are my Tanks alright.
