Radiostar was right... yes this is democracy... and by democracy we can point out why we're idiots until now...

with lack of education and corruption, what good can you expect from democracy?

if not idiocacy, then what would be the best word to describe it?

I remembered once of a proposal to have the senators run on a regional level, instead of national. I has in my 3rd yr HS (a mere 10 years ago i think). my instructor who read the article/news about it more thoroughly discussed that most senators (who are from National Capital Region) agree on this, but on the condition that 1 senator will represent a region, and 12 senators will represent National Capital Region...

To be fair and honest.... we are all bunch of idiots for the past years of our lives. Try to remember, when was the last time you wasted your vote to a candidate that you know he/she is not capable of governing/leading the people. Even if somebody is running for barangay captain and you know that he's only good at sitting on his chair and shining his as all the time, then why elect him? Is it because of money and opportunity that you can gain access to power by taking on his side?

That's why I don't wanna vote this 2010 because all of the candidates that I saw on tv and posters are not capable of leading us out from our misery. Btw, we should change our theme "Philippines: Pearl of the orient" to "Philippines: Idiots of the orient". The bad reputation that got us into the center stage in Asia came from our Politicians.

they are the ones that can be easily gathered to join rallies...haay!

can we not change our election laws?
...that only income tax payers are allowed to VOTE.
...those who are paying their income taxes for the past 3years should be the ones allowed to vote.
...kanang wala nagbayad ug income tax, can only vote sa local elections. They should not be allowed to vote for candidates running for national positions.

i agree. just so because you see others as "mang-mang" and irrelevant doesn't mean you have the right to step on theirs. ikaw mismo you're beginning to sound like those aristocrats who have nothing to do but step on what they seem as puny.

dili ana oi. there may be problems but wa dyud katungod ni kinsa na magpugong sa uban. rather, the change you want whether you like it or not starts with you. be an example rather than a dictator.
