What it will do

Get an idea as what and how the Hunter Team will operate from what Mayor Osmeña has said.

* It will “search and destroy” the enemy, the criminals for their targets.

Apparently, the team won’t do the usual police work of sleuthing and arresting, for the suspect to be jailed and prosecuted. “We will aggressively seek them out” and “we will whack them,” says the mayor.

Whacking here isn’t likely to be the kind that one does with stick or paddle to a naughty child. The whackers carry guns and are sharp shooters.

* There will be a prize of P10,000 to P20,000 for each criminal who is “permanently disabled or neutralized.”

With the scramble for the bounty, who will be picky over wounding or killing the criminal?

this is the reason also why DAVAO (headed by Mayor Duterte) have a lesser crime rate....

nindt unta ug ang right solution naa dayon. pero in the meantime, this will have to do. mas maau nlng ni kay GRABE na ang crime sa cebu... mka sapot lang nga ug naay mamatay nga "criminal" mag hilak hilak dayon ang mga asawa/ka live-in nila. they should have said something to the cops kung suspicious cla sa ilang mga ka live-in.
