Warcraft the movie will beat The Avengers? LOL

The Avengers (comics) has a long and solid history through comics. Warcraft was on the 90's. Only kids/kids at heart will watch and relates to that movie. Don't try to defend your favorite game just because you are hooked in playing it. I played Warcraft too since its first RTS game was released here, it was a good game though. The Avengers has a vast market from kids to even adults who are fond of reading comics when they were just kids. There are many aspects of and epic movie and The Avengers had just owned it.

MIB III only beat the Avengers since it's MIB III's opening weekend while the Avengers is on it's 4th. In overall box office success, MIB III doesn't hold a candle against The Avengers.

Back to topic: Maybe "The Dark Knight Rises" and "The Avengers 2" will have a shot at it. If Warner Bros. and DC wise-up and stop issuing crappy super-hero flicks like "Green Lantern", a JLA movie might make a run for it.

And no, Warcraft the Movie will not beat the Avengers. Traditionally, movies based on video games suck and underperform at the box office. Only the Resident Evil has made a decent franchise out of video game-based material.
