peace..
considering i975 ang chipset gigamit sa intel nga processor sa ilang benchmark... maayo lang pud unta i975 ang chipset sa imo mobo paliton kung mag-intel ka... para patas sa 3200Originally Posted by Teban2006
Ang link na my example athlon 3200+ venice core s939 with DDR400 na, ug patas ra ug score disregarding the chipset na used, ug am2 with NF5 chipset gamit maomao raman doul ra kaayo scores,2 to 3 fps nga mabaw ma feel paba ni? hehehehe, so ug mag gamit ug intel using an old chipset like i945 for example, more or less ma tabla ra gihapon. gets?Originally Posted by fish
if i were you. i'd go with AMD. Athlon 64 3200+ is running only at 2000Mhz or 2Ghz and using DDR ram only yet it can match the 3.2Ghz speed of intel using DDR2.
2ghz vs. 3.2Ghz yet almost the same performance.
just think, if your AMD processor is running at the same speed as the intel proc. i think you'll figure that out.
open minded man ko bro, pero autocratic lang jud uban mga bro nato diri,.

ok man ang 3200 bro thats what im using now.... i dont know with the intel proc.... dili man ayu init ang 3200 nya mas overclockable siya compared to intel procs....
budget, availability, warranty, price of other parts(motherboard cost, memory cost)
chooose any of the two, it wont really matter that much.
ay sos bisan pag via chipset lupig gihapon nang amd..Originally Posted by fish

i think it would be unfair comparing intel and amd basing from teban2006's link, intel is using its topnotch chipset with ddr2 memory while amd's configuration is its old nf4 chipset with ddr400. here from same link but different configuration. http://www23.tomshardware.com/cpu.ht...=474&chart=170
im using both Intel 630 3000 945P chipset based Mobo and AMD Athlon 64 3200+ nF400 based Mobo its hard to tell the difference on gaming. one thing im sure Intel 630 CPU is really hot. while i can overclocked easily AMD Athlon 64 but its cpu temperature is not as hot as the Intel 630 3000 at stock.
my two cents!
