lets go to palawan...
LET'S VOTE IN!
MANILA, Philippines – There's a big chance the Puerto Princesa Underground River (PPUR) will make it to the New 7 Wonders of Nature (N7WN)--that is, if Filipinos will do their part in voting for the famed tourist spot.
The Department of Tourism (DOT) is spearheading the campaign to put PPUR on the list.
The DOT said Friday it will go on TV via an episode in a travel program, and conduct familiarization trips for the media to help in spreading the word about PPUR.
Tourism Secretary Alberto A. Lim has also met with the business community, particularly the officials of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to solicit their support.
"I have made a pitch for them to support the program and I am happy that they have responded positively by saying they will encourage Mainland Chinese to vote as well," Lim said.
In 1999, UNESCO declared the PPUR as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The underground river itself runs for 8.2 kilometers amid a spectacular limestone landscape.
The PPUR is part of the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park (PPSRNP) managed by the local government. Its website can be found at Puerto Princesa Underground River - The Official Nominee of the Philippines to the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

We have less than 4 months to spread the news and encourage everyone in our social networks to vote. Start spreading to start the voting...
I'll keep this thread updated from time to time. ^_^
PPUR is in going up trend..i log on their website once a week..so we have a good chance..
Have you spread the word today? ^_^
not being a KJ pero kung mo-botar ta ani nya mo-daug, mo-samot tang di ka-adto kay mo-mahal ning lugara.....
the sad truth like Aman Pulo............
Then what's stopping you from getting there while it's still as it is right now? Just like the lyrics of one of Rico Blanco's songs:
"Kung ayaw may dahilan
Kung gusto palaging merong paraan..."
This could be one of the few things that could help generate jobs for the locals there if we help make it happen. Let's just set our personal interests aside for once, shall we?
^_^
