Those students who've had tattoos didn't have them before entering the school. (Or Hid them properply)

and because the school can't expel a student without any hard violations, they're force to swallow them.

Even though it was really a derogating act, but still the school has all it's rights to refuse a student because it is a private school.

Could be that the chairman is just doing his/her job kay imo man dagway gi check and naa man jud kaha sa student manual. I guess you're out of luck since wala kay mabuhat ana.Unless if imo gyud na padak-on para ma change ang student manual sa iskwelahan.

but the wala lang gyud ko ganahi sa gisulti nga "We do not accept students who have tattoos! This is a formal institution, we don't allow our students to look like ex-convicts."

if ilaha nga definition sa ex-convicts kay kanang naay tats. shame on them! ka chada ra sa akoang tattoo unya tawgon kog ex-convict tungod ani?! pweh! mahal tawon kaau akong bayad ani maong ayaw gyud kog tawga nga murag ex-convict! i-susumbong ko kayo kay tulfo!!! joke.

I wont say its totally unfair on your side bro because the chairman does have a point. Its stated in the manual, which means, they have to abide by the rules and regulations they have imposed. But personally, it really wont hurt to have a tat like that, especially if its not that obvious. Just as what one of the posts here read, let's just wait for the student manual's revision. I've seen it posted around our campus but I'm not sure if its actually going to pull through. Let's just wait and see.

not too long ago, year 2002, nagenroll ko ddto sa usc-tc, i too have a body art in my left arm and two inverted cross in both thumbs...they didnt even bother, with me wearing slippers, tattered pants and pughaw na tshirt. gidawat ko because of my academics when i was in highschool...pero tibuok pre-school until grade 6 usc na jd nuon ko...pag high school ra na putol...
to think, BSPolitical Science pa gni to nga hapit mga faculty ana formal kau kay uban attorneys and others LLB graduates...pero murag wa rman to saona...karun daghan na jejemon, asta ang mga administrators and faculty members na jejemon na sd...
