Sa Cebu City ra siya gamay ug vote less than 100K iya nakuha tungod kay gi work-out gyud ni Mayor Tomas... but the total registered voters of Cebu City is 100k plus rapud.... Ayaw e-generalize nga dili na ganahan ang mga cebuano niya kay basin naa cebuano unya masuko.... Mostly project ni Sonny O naa sa Province not in Cebu City.... Sonny O is the asset & saviour sa mga Cebuano legislator mo pasa ug Bill nagdto sa senado... Mga project nga si Sonny ni palusot ngadto sa Senado para ma approvan sa National Budget.... Marcelo Fernan Bridge, Trans central Highway, converting Talisay into City, Rehabilitation & Reforestation in Atlas Mining Area, Naga-Uling Road, and among others... He's not Anti-Cebuano nasulti rato niya that time kay nag pa lakas ra cya ni Erap, which is nga wala gyud kadaug si Erap dinhi sa Cebu both of Province ang Cebu City in 1998 election... well that's your opinion. as i have said, i won't vote for him. so u said sonny is very sipsip to erap. well evidently true na sya. if he is not anti-cebuano, why he didn't win in cebu city?? if we say because of tomas osmeña ang rason, that's a lame excuse. mostly cebuanos, not all, are matured enough. daghan na kibaw sa laro ani nya. ang gaba ni-abot na kang sonny. if you miss the point, he also lost last 2004 eleksyon bec. of being "balimbing." sa iya pagka-balimbing, daghan mga tawo, especially taga-luzon, naglagot niya. he sided with erap but he run for senator under arroyo ticket. tsk tsk that was a wrong timing for john o. after the loss of sonny osmena in the 2004 eleksyin, who's laughing now: the matured cebuanos!!!

right. time's really a changin. in the near future forums like this can make or break a politician's ambition. who knows, it could start in this year's elections. so, we can expect spin doctors prowling the site pushing their propagandas. i can smell one already. and John O? as one poster said he's brilliant but he's become arrogant. for me, he's lost track of what to do to help steer this country. he's become just another politician. and he lost his base too. all his bases are not belong to him anymore.
