dli gyud advisable ang wrigglers kay it may bring diseases to your tanks.. goldfish are prone to that... mas maayo nang prepared foods and pellets.. i heard green peas and such pwede cla... nya nindot na filter kay pwerteng hugawana bya ana nila...

hi titanium, how are you and your isda? since you mentioned Crayfish i have a story to tell. One time my office went out for lunch at this fine resto near the fishermen's wharf here and guess ba naman? It was a crayfish place. And guess what else? they were crawling all over the place, out from the kitchen and some near my feet under the table! pero dili Crayfish to akong gi order for lunch lain lang although popular for Crayfish yung resto, i just could not eat Crayfish when i saw them crawling all over the place. To think, puede sab diay na siya as pet? what's cool about it and lobster? now i'm sort of debating if I should get an aquarium or not. You know how that goes when you get started and the lotsa work that goes into taking care of them. I can remember the sacrifices i had to make for Goldie then. Some days, i wished she was gone na lang kay lagi you need to maintain just like any other pet. Once you get started, you have to keep up with maintenance. So now, i'm thinking if i really want to go that route in having another aquarium considering i gave up all my supplies for donation because i was sure i dont want another one again. So thinking sa ko ron should i or not? its nice but lotsa work. I'll let you know then kung unsa gyud for now yours is okay just keep me posted - fish? lobster? crayfish? what else? About wrigglers, yeah dont give 'em that. Hadlok gani ko before nagka disease akong Goldie i was thinking baka she has worms. Just keep those worms away for health reasons for your fish. Stick to the tried and true that works for your fish. I hope the rest are surviving okay so far. Ingatz.

im just fine..kinda busy doing the planted tank requirements.purchasing the stuffs needed and the aquatic plants too.im still having trouble where to place it.i have now two 15 gal tanks.was looking for a customized rack so i can just pile them.with the planted tank on top.my goldfish are still doing great.but i really don't understand why they fade in color..then after sometime their color is back.

hehe..that surely make you lose appetite.yeah, but their miniature in size.i think 2" or so the most. i saw them this afternoon. i went to white gold. their crayfish/lobster is the cheapest so far at 44Php. other petshops are selling it at 50 or 55..SM the most expensive at 150 hmmmm..when i saw them crowded on that small tank.they were all very still.rarely moving. makes me lose interest in them too.some lost their pincher..tsk tsk tsk.. they're easy pets as i've read.can feed them every 2 days or so.. maybe if they're on a planted tank.they would be quite interesting to see eating the plants or uprooting them. but you don't want that to happen. those aquatic plants are even more expensive than the fishes.

oic.its ok.if in doubt.better not venture into this hobby again.yeah, its really a lot of work than i anticipated.if only we have poso water. it would be easier changing the water.yeahh..me too.i want to change 3 remaining goldfish to tiger barbs. i went to plaridel/manilili too this morning. i saw one seller at the sidewalk selling t.barbs.was really itching to buy them. i like that batch. their black stripes were dark and have red color on their fins.. the other sellers t.barbs were not so "good".that is faded black stripes and no red fins and it was much smaller. their selling it for 10p each. i always try to bargain maybe 3 for 25p.hehehe.their more active and fun to watch.chasing each other at great speeds.

hehe..i'll pass the lobster for now.and maybe i should slow down too. my mom is not too happy and enthusiastic with my spendings. she said i should be practical. what if i go away or somewhere else. who would take care of them. they would all die

yupz! just those official fish food then..the three are ok.but the bloated babae seemed to lose some scales on both sides of her bloated tummy..don't know why.. you too.ingats always!

Hi titanium, wow talagang you seem to be getting into this passionate hobby of yours. Duha na gani imong tank, lol. What next? live corals etc? Gastos ra ba gyud na they do add up so i dont blame your Mama if she gets a bit complaining about your spending habits for fish and your line of hilig. Actually its really like that, when you are passionate about some hobby or anything along the line, you wont mind spending a lot of money on it but can't blame you too. I know what its like. And aquarium and fish maintenance can get pretty expensive. Pero enjoy man kaha ka. Just dont forget you have a world out there for real, not just your seaworld, hehehe And yes in fact your Mama is right too. Kinsay mo take care anang imong mga pets when you are away or out of town? I know that too it happened to me with my kids sila ang first hilig anang mga pets then later on, ako na tawon tagahuman ug care sa ilang mga pets kay after a while, they just neglect to follow through with taking care of pets they get tired of it and I end up doing the most daunting task of cleaning and taking care of their pets. About your Goldfish, find someone whom you can trade Goldfishes to Tiger Barbs. Just in case lang naay gusto mopalit sa imong isda. Or find a fellow enthusiast to exchange fish with? Sounds like a very nice good looking fish by your description black stripes and red. Is that a tropical fish? Sige tagaan ta ka ug Isda, pili lang! yours comes with head of course, lol
About the Goldfish losing scales, i dont really know the answer to that i think when they'er healthy they retain their color and their scales looks very shiny and healthy. Occasionally some come off but not much as I remembered how it was with Goldie before but kung daghan na siya bald spots sa body due to loss of scales, i think nay sakit imong fish. I dont know yet kung mag aquarium na pud ko. I'll just surprise you one of these days. Thanks u too likewise.

hehehe..mao jud.dili jud ko ka sleep at night huna huna..hahaha! i let a few days pass and see if i still want it. and i still do. mao na im into setting a planted tank.guppies lang unya akong ibutang. eveything is ready includiing the aquatic plants and substrate etc. its the stand/rack that i don't have. still searching for a cheaper iron works shop. i've inquired a few. they're asking for 2T for just a simple stand..tsk tsk tsk. maski walay ka design2 unta like those curly2 bars.just plain simple stand.haaayy..

naaahh..that's too much na going marine. i don't have the budget or resources for that. yupz! gastos lagi. im always keeping a log of all my daily expenses so i'll know how much i've already spend this month. im way out of my monthly budget..hehe.

yupz! basta passionate og ma adik jud ka. you'll find a way jud enjoy man pod.

waaahh..ngita ko unya og foster parents.hehe..kinsa gusto adopt ako goldfish og aquatic plants.

oic. ingon ana man jud basta kids..maski dagko man gani. after sometime, the ineterest seems to fade away. kita napod new hobby.hehe.

i think that's not practical to trade with. chances are you can't find someone to trade with.unless you give your gf for free.daghan mangayo.hehe.

nice man pod.but their much smaller that my gf.almost half the size. and i've read they grow only to a max of 3". yah, tiger barbs are tropical freshwater fish..you can search over the internet for tiger barb and see how it looks like.

kanang dako na isda ha? lami kaayo nang dagko isda..hehe.the head lami himuon tinola.

yah, i too don't know why. dili ba kaha sa pgbag-id bad-id sa bloated na babae sa bottom sa tank.coz they do that from time to time.ang sides nila ebag-id.mao cguro mapahak ang scales sa sides..morag hair loss.pero ila, scales loss..hahaha!

ok.do keep me updated kung unsa ba jud.

Hi titaniumbox (i happen to love that color sa mga gadgets - titanium)...sorry sa late reply here medyo na busy ko in my own whatever ways. Nag set up ko ug trundle bed for my daughter yesterday morag puzzle to mga roskas sa frame it took me tagal to finish that due to nuts and bolts sa bedframe. Then palit pa ko ug AV connector for the old tv nga akong gi transfer sa room since i got a new big flat screen for the living room. Super busy ko yesterday. Namanday ko. Kumusta imong mga GF? heheh, i like that GF term for Goldfish. And how about the real GF? Anyway, yesterday i had to go to the Pet Store kay nahutdan na ug food si Puddles my bunny, and there i thought of you when i saw the fishes in the many Aquariums. And yes, kakita na ko anang tiger barbs they are like $3.00 something each here. They look cute too. I went to Petco. Wala sila kaayo mga isda nga nagustuhan nako. I saw the Neon tetras too they're very cute and tiny. Can you imagine i was just thinking siguro kadtong akong Goldie mahal na kaayo kung gibaligya to nako cause she was really big na. Sa pet store there are so many different kinds of goldfish and I saw one even much smaller than my Goldie mahal its like over $20.00 each. Ang ilang mga Goldfish prices at least $3.00 and up tanan almost looking similar sa imong mga Goldfish. Then, i saw a chinese sharkfish. Also expensive and its not really a pretty fish morag shark. I did not see very much nicer colors there like yellows, purples, reds, blues...usually mga tropical fish ang ing ana nga mga color. Goldfishes i saw naay pure white they call albino, , orangey color like the usual goldfish, then naay uban with black head orange body, naa sab spotty dotty all over, then naay all black goldfish. I think tropical fishes are the prettiest. About the racks, wow nice kaayo ang mga fishtanks with those high and tall rack cabinets i like the black color cabinet hi tech tan-awon. Pero naa ko daghan dire sa balay racks nga puede sa imong fishtank with shelvings and wheels. Used them for my Goldie before. Sus kung duol pa lang ka... sige talk to you later again.

Hi! no dili man very resilient ang mga Goldfish and the easiest to take care of since they easily adapt to their environment. I think siguro proper water ph as in any fish. Mine lasted 8 years.
