    Here were using of SUN SOLARIS workstation also our servers operating system sun solaris new version, its very nice environment no other problems. mura ra gihapon og linux...hehehehe then the pc cloned install sun solaris 8 & 9 version but the spec pentium 3 until now working already...I try vmware solaris 10 version its working pod sya...

    taas taas ni system requirement sa sun solaris da

    ako ni gi try ug install sa akong VMware nga naka install sa akong laptop

    700+mb ram ug 1.7ghz nga process dili pwdi. lol! pero kong linux okay ra. kong di mo ganahan ug linux di sad cguro mo ganahan ug sun. unix raman gihapon nang duha

    available naman ang Solaris 10 for X86 processor and nindot na, mura ka og nag windows/mac in one.
    medyo kuti lang install compared sa windows pero naa man sab manual.check lang daan ang mga requirement gyud kung pwd sa imong pc before doing any installation.

    I have a Solaris 10 and an OpenSolaris installer DVD yet I have not tried it. But my interest with Solaris OS use is getting perked when I read this thread.

    im testing out Solaris 2008.11RC1 i've downloaded... i not pretty sure if it can run at 64-bit mode... it seems like its kernel can automatically switch 32/64 mode..
    btw, all my *nix are 64-bit, i prefer that.. since memory is cheap already and we can easily go beyond 4gb..

    verified. Solaris for x86 runs at 64-bit by default.. switches to 32-bit when not available
    very nice..
