This league started exclusively for call centers back in 2005, and managed to adapt to changes in past years. Its now named Inter BPO to cater not only to call centers but to other BPO companies that are not necessarily a call center. I think it was back in 07 season where the name of the league has a /IT tag on it but sadly there were not enough IT companies who joined to make a separate bracket. If the interested IT companies express their intent to join the league and wants the league name changed, then they should do so OFFICIALY aron mahibaw an pila kabuok, ug kinsa pod ni sila. Even kami mga taga BPO were thinking nga daghan ganahan mo join ani nga IT companies, mao to gi suggest sa meeting nga i-change ang name sa liga.

Cebu BPO/IT Basketball League tingali mas maau. we can't leave out BPO kay mao ni nga industry ang nagsugod sa liga, and majority of the teams that compose this league are BPOs

Good point Mike, the main reason why it is taking so long to come up with a new tournament name is because the changes that we are talking about here goes beyond tournament names but a tournament concept or product.

What we are looking at right now is a product that will continously adapt to changes in the future without losing its main idea or its roots which was pioneered by the Call Center Industry. I know it may sound so complicated but management is anticipating changes as far as 5 year years from now.

With the great response we are getting from teams, the league is not that far from the dream of following a "Super League" concept which is the grand plan we are talking about.
