i think it was an honest mistake. i don't think the Robinsons' would risk offering spoiled meat to their customers shortly after launching their supermarket chain.

this simply serves as a reminder to all establishments to be keen about inspecting their goods properly and regularly.

This is a very disappointing for us consumers.

Me and my family prefer going to these supermarkets for security purposes though prices are bit higher than our public markets.

An honest mistake doesn't give justice to this incident. I know there are some meat vendors nga isagol-sagol ang daan nga karne sa bag-o... It certainly fired back at them now..

Heard over DYAB anchor Leo Lastimosa that Robinsons Supermarket Fuente has been selling Spoiled Beef and was confiscated by the MEAT INSPECTION TEAM of CEBU around 8 kilos of Beef cubes and other beef part were also confiscated..

Pilar Palang Romero, Head of Public Heath Division of Dept. of Veterinary Medicine and Fisheries. It was also cleared ON-AIR by Dra. Pilar Palang Romero nga dili gyud diay to siya spoiled...... It was just a change in color or discoloration because of sudden temperature change.... kay naka-frozen man diay kuno to ang meat ug gi-display dayon didto sa meat section wherein ang temperature is warmer or higher kay sa didto sa storage area(freezer)... ang klaro ani, DILI GYUD DIAY TO SPOILED ANG MEAT....

I only shared to my fellow istoryans of what i heard over DYAB thru Leo Lastimosa... ang importante ani atleast, We know that Robi Fuente couldnt even maintain the Freshness of the Meats they are selling.
