    tophat,
sorry for the lame term sir. yan kasi ang tawag ng mga watch technician dyan sa cebu everytime hinahanapan ko sila ng turtle type divers

after watch hunting here in manila this holidays only one came home. saw a couple of 6105s kaso sobrang overprice si ate. 20k each tapos sira pa. needs deep restoration pa. yun nakuha ko puro aftermarket parts na rin pero eto na favorite ko. bought her a jubillee bracelet na rin..

    Thank you sir

I got the slimmed down 6309 first and was impressed with its' water resistance even though it's a 23 year old watch. I got a bit addicted so I hunted the bigger turtle cased 6309s and luckily I got these two refurbished 6309s and one franken 6306 which is now my current beater and planning to do a mod on

Tophat, I'm also looking for that oyster bracelet here locally, bsag manila, but all sources I got were from HK, or US or bsag asa, wala locally, and it's about Php 2T plus if iconvert. Share some updates regarding your contact with Mang Loy

    Here's a link from 10watches

    Home -

And contact from Yobokies from HK.

    yobokies@yahoo.com.hk

Aside from the rubber vent strap and the oyster, you might want to try nato or zulu straps, i got em for my seiko diver's. Like the look and comfort. Here's a pic of my maratac zulu.

Nice stash you have there Sir! Love those vintage divers. Thanks for the info and advice on the mod, I've heard also about Mang Loy, I was able to contact him once when I was looking for straps. How I wish we could also have a Mang Loy here in Cebu.

Sir, please share some pics after the mod by the way, how much did you get for those 6309s? So I can arrange if I have the budget for some vintage.

Barato lang sir, less than $100. Unlike sa mga international trading forums na minsan aabot na ng $300 depende sa condition.

Tiyaga lang sa paghanap at pagtanong-tanong sa tabi tabi sir. I will update this thread after the mod. Duha duha pa ko kung original used dial from other movement or funky colors ang ipabutang nako
