It really depends sir on the temperature, feeding, and the specie... Some species may grow so fast and some are really slow no matter how you feed them... Some may even go fasting like the Grammostola rosea... I have here before a 2 cm sling, it's almost 2 years with me but it's still 2 inches... hehe...

Temperature also matters... you may notice nga they will molt more frequently during summertime, and molt slower during rainy season. Moderate-high temperature increases their metabolism making them grow faster... but too much heat will kill your tarantula...

ur welcome bro... yes hides are not really necessary for sling/juvenile tarantulas... when adults, ok na if mu put kag hides especially if mu start na ka ug breed... in adults, hides are necessary jd especially in subadult/adult females... but if you will have a burrower or arboreal, barks will suffice... they will be the one to make hides out of it..

sir patabang pud ko., naa ko rosea d man sya mukaon uy pila na ni ka days wa mikaon, ako sya gtagaan ug lats usa kaubok pero wa pa niya kan a , ako gibugaw ang lats para muduol niya mahadlok man nuon sya sa lats heheh.. about 1 inch pa ni sya... mahadlok sad ko mugunit kay basig gigutom ni siya ba, ako nyang kamot paakon hehe
