    Investment I.Q 101 : If you want the best rate of return of your money, bypass the bank. Invest it where the bank invest its deposits. One vehicle is mutual fund that I share here.

    If your knowledgeable and you want more challenge, you can invest directly into stocks but it is very risky if you don't know how. What i like in a mutual fund is that, it is manage by a professional Fund Manager.

    NSCB - Statistically Speaking... Anti-Poverty? How about Pro-Middle Class?

    Do you know that a family can be considered as middle class as of 2007?
    You are a middle class during 2007 if your anuall income range from P251, 283 to P2,045,280.

    How many people out there have a salary of Php 267 per day?

    That is inflation, our salary increase is very small but the inflation rate is higher than the increase in out salary. Imagine if you don't change your value in terms of handling money?

    Rich Dad poor Dad said, this formula "you go to school, get to college, find a high paying job, save and retire" doesn't work anymore during these era.

    You should now how to invest than saving. You must learn how to invest.

    The value of 1M pesos 10 years ago has greater value compared to 1M of today.
    Imagine after 20 years, maybe that 1M today is already a salary of a manager after 30 years or more.

    I will share another appilcation of a Mutual Fund.
    Example: Lets use this fund Philequity Management, Inc.

    Imagine, you invest 1M at year 1995 at Php 1/share so you have 1M shares, if you redeem that fund today as of 2010, the price of the share is Php 15/share, then you simply multiply. 1M Shares x Php15/Share , so your investmen is already 15M. Imagine if you just place you 1M in a bank last 1995 growing at 3% per year, so that is around Php 1,557,967. as of today using compound interest formula anually(F=P(i+1)^n).

    So the compounded Rate of return of PhilEquity Mutual fund given Future amount = 15M Present Amount = 1M, the return is around 19% per anum. Just use these Formula : F=P(1+i)^n. Please check my answer. You can use your knowledge in mathematics, then you can choose which is riskier is it a bank or a mutual fund? Hehehe!

    Imagine, imu ra gipatolog imung kwarta, alakansi paka kay ang value sa 1M pag 1995 dako na kaayo na, karon sus, suyopon ra nag usa ka week ang 1M.

    I can share many inputs, pero dili pani mao. Hehehe! You can always set an appointment with me, and I can discuss with you.

    Hi,
    Correct me if I'm wrong.
    Di ba once you purchase bonds from Mutual fund for let's Php100,000 you won't get that Php100,000 back, right? You will earn income through the returns of your bonds.
    And if you want, you can sell the bonds to somebody else.

    Hehehe! Where did you hear that?
    Bond Fund is invested in governement securities. you can redeem it any time, who told you to sell it to somebody? Bond fund doesn't fluctuate that aggressively compared to a stock fund. It is good for Older people. I myself when I get old I will transfer my Equity Fund into a bond fund. It has smaller rate of returns than stock fund, it is not so aggressive. Take a look at this Philequity Management, Inc., is is not agressive than this Philequity Management, Inc.

    Mutual Funds has three kinds:
    1.) Stock/Equity Fund
    2.) Balanced (Stocks and Government Securities)
    3.) Bond Fund (Invested in Government Securities)

    Mutual fund - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia <-- learn more about mutual funds.
    But it is nice to learn if some one is coaching you.

    This formula can change your financial Future :

    P(1+T)n = ERV

    where P = Is the principal
    T = Interest rate
    n = number of years
    ERV = Future value.

    This formula can work for you at the same time working against you.

    It can work for you if you invest.
    It can work against you if you have debts.
