Taxing the Church is taking money from an organization that has a better record of using money for the people than most other groups, and giving it to another organization that has ther worst record of corruption: the government. Now how smart is that really?

All this howling about taxing the Church sounds more like some immature people trying to get back at the Church for some imagined grievances. And this immaturity will hurt even more people by letting the ogvernment steal even more.

para lang nako, they should pay taxes, pareho raman mga bai, schools run by the church have a higher tuition pay than the other schools run by a private company. Luoy kaayo ang mga tag-iya sa school owned by individual kay sila gikuhaan ug tax unya ang ila ka competensya walay buhis.

    about community service:
companies like ayala, globe, san miguel, bpi bank and smart they do community service, mas dako pa gani ila budget compared sa church.

about separation of church and state:
mas dako sila influencial para sa government kun unsa ila e sulti, mutuo dayon ang mga tawo. Dili man nato ma deny nga ang church karun gaapil-apil naman sad sa politica.

Ang tinuod ana, nga kun kinsa tung congressman or senador nga mo initiate ug himo ug balaod nga buwisan ang simbahan, mahadlok sila kay dili na sila kadaug next election. Unya contrahan sa simbahan.

Pero sa ako lang nga galisod ang nasod, dapat lang na sila buhisan.

really? using money for the people? how? we are talking here about businesses owned by the church like schools, hospitals etc. Not taxing the church itself.

You mean schools don't do anything for the people? Don't hospitals help people? And don't these "businesses" subsidize the many free charities of the Church? The free services of Caritas, Hospicio de San Jose, etc. have to get funding to continue to operate.

true, wa lagiy tax, pero the school is still used mainly to generate income for the Church and not to educate the people. Kung malessen pa nila ilang mga tuition fee, nya ilimit lng ang max number of students to protect private schools then ok kaayo, donate jud ko permi sa Church ba.

Ingon bitaw nila nga ang Vatican is the richest city. Its because they get money from worldwide catholic organizations. And in the olden days the catholic priests were able to own vast lands in different parts of the world and they still now own most of them.

Where did you get that notion? Most, if not almost all the tuition fees are used to fund the schools and educate. In fact, many Church-run schools are lacking budgets! Practically nothing is sent to Rome form schools. Rome itself has a tiny budget comparied to other small countries. I suggest you check the figures before making such unfounded accusations, bro!
