The Enid Blyton Book of Fairies. I was about 6-7 years old at the time. I grew up on Enid Blyton fairy tales and adventure stories, it's no wonder I'm so into fantasy now that I'm grown up hehehehe![]()
Hey those are some pretty interesting books, guys. Man, if only I remember what I read. I'm trying to think whether the first book I read was dr. seuss, or this *** ed one my mother borrowed from the library once (it had cartoon drawings and diagrams for kids)

nancy drew...way back during my gradeschool days...

aside from books on nursery rhymes and fairy tales.. it would be wolves of whiloby chase... that got me started on pocketbook reading then I moved to sweet valley and nancy drew afterwards...
i think it was Dr. Seuss's Oh the thinks you can think. i was grade 4, 1997, i still have it. it was for my birthday.
