10-40mm? or 17-40L imo pasabot bro? ana man gud, sa 17 end then APS-C ka (17X1.6=27mm equivalent sa FF) thus and 24-70 on a FF wide pa keysa imo 17-40 on an APS-C. Mao mas maau 10-22mm ka if APS-C imo gamit. Widest karon (non FE)sa FF is sigma 12-24 ata.

curious ko why wala naapil sa list ang 16-35L sa list
pero if ako mopili, 10-22mm or 17-40L pero mas leaning
ko sa 17-40L kay weather sealed. and of course, an L is an L.

dehins ko alam ang price ngayon ng 11-16 or 12-24... I got my tokina 12-24 2 years ago and my lens is already used and abused I love to use it on photowalks, landscape, and experimented some portraiture on that lens too...

most UWA lenses are prone to flare, glare, ghosting (if you have filters on it) even with lens hood. even vignette (specially stacking filters) and I found it very challenging specially shooting at night.

for landscape f4 is already sharp I dont know about 11-14 f2.8 i usually use f4 and above for my landscapes.

one thing I dont use my 12-24 is when shooting IR... tokina 12-24 is a bad lens for IR photography, it produce hotspots, some say sigma's UWA is greate for IR, Im glad I still have my mighty kitlens in my bag for IR

    cheers!

17-40L is only good in a FF cam, its sharp and build is very good, but if your going to use this on a 1.6crop then you'll just be dissappointed, the only thing you'll be happy about is that you have an L other than that wala na, the focal range is not that good either and your better off with your kitlens kay more or less same ra og kuha.

get the 11-16 2.8, its fast and strong build quality. the extra light will be really helpful when you need it

here is a sample shot too of ayala terraces using my 11-16 2.8
