why did you still take up engineering?
i think depende ra na sa company. Naay high paying na company naa sad low.

All this time i always complain about my salary. I always say that I am an IT graduate and yet this is just the pay i can have from my job? Naa pa diay worse ug situation sakoa.. bitaw noh 5 yrs then take paka ug board nya renew renew pa sa license.. .

I think PRC is trying to 'clean' the profession. hehehe...murag ila gusto mahitabo, ang miembro sa IIEE dapat mga bigtime engineers lang...or puede pud they are putting a challenge to licensed Electrical Engineers to really practice their profession...hehehe.

Years ago, I thought PRC license card is another sort of identification card. Kana bang inig mo-ENTER ka sa mga building sa Makati, ang guard mangayo ug ID nimo unya wala ka lain ID kadto ra gyud PRC ID...bwahahaha.

Our DepEd is at fault here. They have no studies/forecast on the demand or growth of the profession vs industry demand. They should really regulate schools offering engineering courses. Ila ra man pasagdaan, mao na nga daghan ta mga engineering graduates nga mga polpol...dungagan pa gyud sa mga 'leakage' hahaha...ang mga engineers nato...adto lang intawon sa mga EPZ ug sales/trading companies, ang uban...technician ra.

Para nako if you have no plans of becoming an 'electrical contractor' here in the Philippines, ang imong makaya is kutob ra sa pagka empleyado forever, then what is the use of being a PRC license holder? If license holder ka unya empleyado ra ka...you are managed/controlled by individuals that have lesser skills and knowledge than you. bwahahahaha, mao bitaw gi hire ka kay they want your knowledge at a minimum cost....in short, slave ra ka nila, unya mas smart sila kay nimo. bwahahahaha

LOL. Nagsige raman ka ug panaot sa imo field. :P If you really want to be an electrical engineer then go for it. Kung IT ka inclined kay start learning and go for it. Sometimes, it's not all about the money man sad. It's all about what you want to do. hehe

Now, my PRC license card is 8years expired na man tingali...I dont care, its in my old wallet hehehe.
Pero bisan karon, makakita gihapon ko ug PRC license nga gamiton pang entry sa usa ka building bwahahaha.
