2.8 ra ko pirmi sah ako 50mm kung low light na jud kaayo anha rko mag 2.0 or 2.2 ..
kung group shots 3.2-4 ... btaw sakto kung mag 5.6 mn gni ka kit lens nlng

ako sad.. mag 2.8 ra ko kong low light. hehe.. pero usually kong outdoor.. il go for 5.6, lagi. pero mas ganhn man ko sa IQ sa prime compared sa kitlens ^^

both 18-55 and 50 1.8 are manufactured with the same quality... both doesn't have USM (smooth, quick and silent AF)... both are affordable...

Such a simple easy to use Canon EF 50mm f1.8 II, yet so many complications about this lens in this thread... sweet spot, 1.8, 5.6, flash, indoor, outdoor, low light, IQ, group shots, sharpening, "Manny Librodo" sharpening etc... you know what, I think you are just in love with your prime lens... hehehe... admit it your are.. or partly... hihihihih...
My last say on this... don't over think and don't be so technical coz we are going nowhere here... do some experiments, try all the possible f-stops in any lighting conditions... start shooting...

i guess so sir.. im just in love with my nifty fifty. hehe.. btaw.. lagi sir.. i'll experemnting thank you sir.. for all the comments.. ive learn a lot.. hehe.. hope you can teach me someday/.. weeee... ^^
