Boss naa pud ko hapit nga question... unsay pasabot sa surge bro?? galibog jud ko ani...

mostly after power outage naa jud power surge mahitabo. mao ni mga voltage spikes, or current spikes. mao ni kalit kaau pag saka sa voltage. this graph will explain it.

Ako just initial step ani nga issue is test the PSU by jump starting it, shorting the green and the black pin using a paper clip and see if the fan spins.

maybe what you mean is a surge protector bro..here's a detailed answer on that below..

A surge protector (or surge suppressor) is an appliance designed to protect electrical devices from voltage spikes. A surge protector attempts to regulate the voltage supplied to an electric device by either blocking or by shorting to ground voltages above a safe threshold. The following text discusses specifications and components relevant only to the type of protector that diverts (shorts) a voltage spike to ground. Many power strips have surge protection built-in; these are typically clearly labeled as such. However, sometimes power strips that do not provide surge protection are erroneously referred to as surge protectors.

@moklo why is that so man brad could you explain further..i've been using avr in the cafe for almost 2 years man and so far ok rman cya bsag cge ug brownout..

i suggest bro nga butangi nalang jud og avr for protection... for power surge..

Kani ai aron safe sa power surge. Use autovolt PSUs ug gamit ug 110 nga transformer.

mainly the power supply bro. basic troubleshooting step: you can remove all peripherals including the memory and try using a different power outlet and check if your pc turns on. if it turns on, then you know that the pc powers up. if you have two RAMS put them back one by one alternately shutting off the pc if it turns on. do the same on the rest of the peripherals one by one and shutting off the pc alternately. with this, if your pc won't turn on we will know who or what the culprit is.. Jazz my opinion
