PPCRV denies involvement in recent survey

The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) today denied reports that it has commissioned a survey of presidential candidates for the May 2010 elections.

PPCRV chairperson Amb. Henrietta T. de Villa said it has never been the policy of PPCRV to commission, participate or be involved in any survey whatsoever, nor has it authorized any group to do so.

“We are investigating the source of these reports,” she said and added that they would disown any such undertaking done by any group using the PPCRV name.

“PPCRV does not focus on conducting surveys. We are a non-partisan movement committed to clean, honest, accurate, meaningful and peaceful elections and have been conducting voters’ education nationwide. Our focus is to help inform the voters about the process of choosing their candidates to enable them to make wise decisions on election day.”

Aside from voters’ education, PPCRV is also preparing its volunteer polllwatchers for their election day duties in the country’s first ever automated elections. Conducting surveys , said de Villa, would only distract them from their main focus. She said there are professional survey groups to handle that. “We will never take part in surveys,“ she said.

i think this ^^ is the exact opposite...

people would actually want to vote for Gibo...
but are afraid to because of Gloria...

it has always been said that:

"the heaviest load that keeps Gibo from rising to the top is a luggage marked - GLORIA."
