or maybe some doesnt have time ,

Oh believe me, when there is money to be made, there will be dozens and dozens of greyhounds to be raced. There's nothing wrong with keeping greyhounds as pets or as breed enthusiasts. There won't even be anything wrong with racing greyhounds for as long as they are shown the love and affection befitting them and not just kept in cramped cages, or that there is some assurance they will not be euthanized after their racing days are done. But as experience in the dog racing industry will show, at some point, there will be too many and many will no longer be wanted by their owners.

Our family has always made it a point to make sure our dogs aren't leashed or kept in cages. They have free rein over our house or, for the bigger dogs, the yard. They are family members, not just pets. I'm not saying that all breeds can be given free rein, but we'd rather stick to the ones that can.

theirs a lot of options rather than putting them to sleep.

Dog racing is okay as long as dili ma pressure or ma abuse ang mga dogs.

    Cool! Dog race!

The problem here is what happens to the dogs once their racing days are over. They are simply discarded like some piece of trash. Patyon lang. Which is why I said very few race dogs die of old age.

Change the word "dog" into "people"

    Same, same...

but this is still some form of gambling, which is still not good.. how about investing on projects that will really help the people not just for a day but for a lifetime, like a livelihood program that will teach people how to earn money and even start their own business. In that way, they wont have to always rely on the government for their everyday needs.
