Sentences in Cebuano does have a structure but not every time followed especially when we converse and use it in everyday life. I think before one could perfectly write in cebuano, immersion would be an effective pre requisite. But keep on doing it coz your doing well i guess.
I remember my teacher in college ni ana cia ., when we translate we never cant convey the 100% meaning of it, sometimes its too much or the other way around.. murag sakto pud kay we feel like we really cant express ourselves when we use english.. pero kung mag bisaya tang mga bisaya murag masulti jud nato and mas nindot jud mag tabi with matching tono and actions pa usahay! and kana sad mag tan-aw ko ug movie in Tagalog then naay subtitle sa ubos in English, murag kiwaw and kulang ra jud..hehehe (i know im a bit far off. LOL)

i know how to read and write hangul. sometimes for the fun of it, i write cebuano in hangul and let koreans read it. but i don't think you have the sound /a/ in the second syllable of 'bata' (child). will pm you re learning korean.
