Murag pagchange nalang sis/bro. In case of doubt, change. Try Animal Kingdom. Buotan mga doc ug staff dadto.

agree. just be critical and mindful of your respective vets... its within your rights as a paying customer.

hehehe akoa vet kai c dr. aruta sa talisay...

    no complaints....here...very accommodating...

and honest....often times he gives me choices...i make the call..not him...hehehe...

like one time..i think hot spot ning naa sa siko sa akoa doggy..m not sure...

i brought my dog to him..he said...naa tambal na ipahid which is only 50 pesos...unfortunately..wa cla stock..which is not unusual kai dghan jd mag gamit ato tambala especially karon na init au den ang mga iro prone to hot spots....and he said there is an alternative injection xa 100 per shot den four shots...

he said ok rmn daw huwaton nko ang stock ato topical na tambal...

but i said shot nlng kai basin managhan..

den ana pa jd xa pwede mupalit nlng ko sa vial den akoa nlng inject para makasave daw ko..

ana ko di ko kai anad rako taw akoa injeckan pero dli iro ...hehehe i make the decision not him..he only offers his opinion

den since ngsuspect mi nga preggers akoa toy poodle....and coming from a family nga CS ang pagpanganak sa dam...

niana xa nga mag andam og 3500 for the procedure alone...

pero ako estimate i think muabot nga around 6k or 7k

den reading ur posts kaingon ko nga for a well trained vet when it comes to surgical procedures affordable au xa..

hehehe...wa jd mi masaup pag pili niya

because everytime dal-on nko akoa doggies niya i can see his concern man

he is very hands on too

basin kanang mga take advantage na vet kai kanang vet nga dgko ngpangalan na naa name they have to live up to...just an assumption though

ive heard good things about dr aruta too and his clinic... two thumbs up for that vet/clinic

the main purpose of this thread is to make dog owners stop for a while and evaluate how their clinics treat them and their pets... thats is precisely why the topic is in the ? mode... it is asking us how do we see our respective vets in the end purpose that we help each other in choosing the "right" vet for us.

my mother is very particular...hehe..in fact we got our toy poodle from dr. aruta..and she's healthy...

cvd is one of the most expensive, if not the most expensive clinics in cebu.
vet skills? there are far more experienced and more knowledgable vets in other clinics than there.
service? not really that extra ordinary... maybe at best, just comparable with other clinics.
facilities? well, they are complete and boasts of one of the most modern in cebu. the only problem with their clinic is that they are FULLY AIRCONDITIONED.

imagine this, if a sick dog is confined there for several days and it happens to be afflicted with a highly communicable disease, much worst if disease can be transmitted airborne (eg distemper), wouldnt it pose a great risk to other dogs boarded within the same facility? the clinic has no "isolation room", saksak-sinagol tanan admitted dogs irregardless what the condition and the sickness of the dogs... or even if the dog is just merely "boarded" sa ila. not a good place if i am to be asked. and to think their high pricey charges... price should be commensurate to the service towards and security of our pets.
