Improve tax collection and plug the tax leaks/loopholes first before raising taxes or creating new ones.

Cutting government spending on certain projects should be considered as well.

Back in 1997, the national budget was at P476 billion. Today, it stands at over P1.5 trillion.

if you read it thoroughly, its just the E-VAT being raised from 12-15%. but your personal income tax gets reduced from 30% to 25%. you get to pay a little more for goods that you buy than what you are paying now (3%) but thats just so small compared to having 5% less deductions from your monthly pay. I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT. of course, as long as there is no corruption, otherwise whether its Gibo, Villar or whoever wins, theres no point.

    Im for Noynoy..

He clearly made a statement that he will not increase taxes and instead would improve tax collection efficiency.

Gibo's stance is unclear... walay klaro iyang baruganan. A leader should make a clear stand on what he plans to do.. not throw up proposals in the air and confuse people.

cut out corruption. tax-increase is not the solution.
I'll vote for Dick Gordon anyways.

there's no need to increase EVAT to 15%... if that happens, prices of the commodities will increase... nag lisod naman gani tah sa 12% EVAT samot nah kung 15%... unta maka sabot siya natong mga trabahante, in times of payday, maglisod tag budget sa swledo... ang angay buhaton, tarungon pag kolekta ang buwis unya, gamiton sad og tarong.... pero imposible na kay daghan keung kamot nga hangol og kwarta...
