dugay naman ng aerial spraying.. sa tanan panahon.. ngano karon pa man sila mo reklamo?
and besides, wala pa man jud klaro nga study kung unsa jud effects sa aerial spraying
i agree nga pollutant jud ng fertilizers and pesticides.. it doesnt matter if giunsa pag apply.. di man kaau mahal mag operate airplane.. one airplane could cover an area that would take several men..
sa ako pagsabot sa aerial spraying, mas less of a pollutant gani cya kay lesser man iya concentrations as compared as ground spraying.. kay ang hangin man mo scatter sa particles.. so one gallon of fertilizer applied by plane covers more area than one gallon applied by hand..
the church might as well nga dili na ta mag gamit of fertilizers kay their bad for health.. maski ako moiingon jud ko nga pollutant jud ng fetilizer.. pero unsa nman lang ato ipatambok sa ato mga tanom? dili nlang ta mangaon..
wa mo kapansin nga kung kanusa pa hapit ang eleksyon, mao pa mag act like a b*tch ang simbahan?
kanang mga paria,, kana nga saging imo pasabot ila gusto.. hehehe
tanan fertilizers organic o synthetic. pollutants jud..
post lang nako something you dont know bout aerial spraying
Banana growers hail WHO stance on aerial spraying
THE Pilipino Banana Growers and Exporters Association (PBGEA) welcomed the recent move of the World Health Organization (WHO) which stopped the Philippine government from taking any action against aerial spraying pending the international body's review.
"Of course we welcome such move, and we hope that with the review of the World Health Organization, everyone will be enlightened and issues be put to rest," PBGEA president Stephen Antig said.
un.Star Cagayan de Oro reported earlier this week that WHO has stepped into the controversial aerial spraying of agrichemicals, amid allegations of rigging in a study purportedly showing that pesticide contamination has breached the boundaries of agricultural plantations.
The report added that last week, WHO officials asked the Philippine government to shelve any action on the ban being pushed by environment advocates until it can finish reviewing the disputed Camocaan study, which claims that residue from pesticide spraying was detected in villagers' blood, in the air, and soil samples.
The issue of aerial spraying took center-stage anew as civic and environmental groups are now lobbying for the ban of the agricultural method on a national scale.
At the moment, two bills seeking the nationwide ban on aerial spraying of pesticides, authored by Cagayan de Oro Rep. Rufus Rodriguez and Senator Miguel Zubiri who hails from Mindanao, are anchored on similar studies -- all connecting the aerial application of agrichemicals to various illnesses allegedly suffered by residents near agricultural areas.
"Once and for all, the study on Camocaan will be resolved and finally put to rest," Antig said. "The residents of Camocaan have suffered so much already."
In a letter to the Department of Health, WHO requested for more time to review pertinent documents submitted to them pertaining to the controversial study conducted in sitio Camocaan in Hagonoy town, Davao del Sur. The study, released last May, recommended a stop to aerial spraying as an agricultural practice.
The result of the WHO review on the study could have significant impact on the spray ban bill, scheduled for public hearing in Davao City this October.
Already, the PBGEA expects that the Camocaan study would not pass WHO standards, alleging it was rigged.
The banana umbrella group has accused those involved in the study of "strong bias against pesticide" and of using environmental samples of questionable integrity and fabricated illnesses among residents. (CPM)

The CHURCH by voicing out their concerns , it is good enough to wake up the proper authorities who can mandate and stop the practice and resort to other alternative options .
Agencies like DENR and DOH probably arent aware of these issues and now they are . If dili sila mo lihok ani then its a different story but the church already imposed something what is MORALLY right and that alone doesnt make them IMMORAL .
@AMORSOLOX ...
Dugay na lage na ang AERIAL SPRAY gi practice but on what accounts ang questionable kay unsay gi SPRAY nila ? Is it even approved by the agencies that are safe for use on crops or for that matter bananas that will be consumed ? Diri sa Pilipinas , lisod siya i justify kay lahi ang setting sa FARMLANDS nato diri , a farmland or plantation could be in the middle of a suburbs or urban areas unlike in the US or maybe Europe whereas , sourrounding the farmlands or an agricultural lands are vast areas of empty barrens of land where nobody occupies so bisan gapataka pa na sila ug spray walay mapagan na civilians on top of the safety also sa produce .
Of course we can always blame the government specially if hapit na ang election . The church is always a scapegoat but then it is better to say the word BITCH if you have experienced being exposed to these hazardous chemical yourself for months if not years . By the way , ORGANIC FERTILIZERS are not POLLUTANTS . The only time a FERTILIZER becomes a POLLUTANT if its MANMADE .

watch the vid.. tanawa aha gikan ila "drinking water" sample.. grabe jud nako katawa.. are these guys for real?
mas "immoral" ang mga researchers nga naghimo sa report nga basis sa simbahan... hahahahahaha
gikontra gud sa DOH ila findings..
^^^
Water samples are only a factor where you can acquire the dreaded AMOEBA .
The peoples illness could be acquired AIRBORNE so dont laugh yet .
BTW ... the video you posted CONTADICTS the point you are trying to make . LUTONG MAKAW siya and that video was made to question the VALIDITY of the TESTING . Si ENGR Rivera ... hmmmm basin sanitation engineer to siya ha .

i own a water refilling business in negros, i know a certain things about water sampling and quality.. and i have some knowledge bout agriculture.. and surely i know nga you dont get drinking water sample gikan sa canal or iriggation ditch.. and also i hire the services of a sanitary engineer for quality certification..
akong theory is kana si engr rivera is a chemical engineer.. lahi ra ang sanitary engineer sa chemical engineer.. bogo na jud kaau sanitary engineer nga mo kuha drinking water sample sa canal..
the point im trying to make is the church is using reports from an unreliable source.. the scientific community would be aghast to the lapses done by the researchers..
according to an engineer, which is a friend of mine, kanang suspended matter sa hangin, mo settle jud na cya eventually sa surface either sa soil or sa water.. and tungod sa ulan or "runoff" adto jud na modagan sa mga canals and rivers...
ang sources sa simbahan wa klaro.. daun mo pataka daun sila storya nga mao na.. hinoon.. hapit naman election.. they want to be courted by the officials.. the church is like a prostitute.. it goes with the one who offers her money.. tsk tsk tsk naunsa na jud..
And thats what exactly the video's contents right ? I dont know about you but I go to DOST for quality certification .
You'll never know . It happened in the very video you posted right ?akong theory is kana si engr rivera is a chemical engineer.. lahi ra ang sanitary engineer sa chemical engineer.. bogo na jud kaau sanitary engineer nga mo kuha drinking water sample sa canal..
And who are these very RESEARCHERS ? The CHURCH ? Hehehe ... pag sure oi .the point im trying to make is the church is using reports from an unreliable source.. the scientific community would be aghast to the lapses done by the researchers..
Naa kay kuwang bai . It could settle also in all the openings of the body and end up inside spewcifically sa LUNGS . Are you familiar of AIRBORBNE ?according to an engineer, which is a friend of mine, kanang suspended matter sa hangin, mo settle jud na cya eventually sa surface either sa soil or sa water.. and tungod sa ulan or "runoff" adto jud na modagan sa mga canals and rivers...

Cite sources please otherwise haosaio ka . From the very moment you opened this up sipyat na ka ug MISLEADING TITLE , and you only stood by THEORIES only which are not factual at all . Owning a WATER FILLING STATION got nothing to do with it and yes I do believe you know agriculture but wonder lang ko , what happened to your FARMING 101 ?
No offense to you but you clearly are implying a strategy of ATTACKING the CHURCH which is the Roman Catholic sector , I could have cared less bisan katoliko ko but sayop man ka . Even your statements has more flaws than the cited source itself . Bai mind you ... they might not be PHYSICIST , CHEMIST , ENGINEERS , PROFESSORS etc ... but these are BISHOPS . Di ni sila mga OPLOK ug UTOK BOLINAO ... mga tang-an kaayo ni sila and it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out why people get sick , whats the common denominator and the general outcome .
