OT: cooldude, i tried that setup pero using cdwriters, i bought 2 cheapo chinese branded writers for the setup, works well, havent tried dvd writers though

wouldnt using more than 2 writers saturate the entire IDE/SATA bus speeds? i mean our avarage drives can only pump out about 45mb/s so if we take 2 dvd writers at 22mb/s hurot atong 45mb. im not saying its impossible but i never tried it pa gyud. anyone here has a system than can use upto 3 dvd writers at a time writing at 16x per drive?

probaby on a separate PCI controller, 3 dvd writers would work well. but for cdwriters, just the onboard controllers do perform quite well even at 40x writespeed (2 drives)

hmm ako personally mga 5 cd ra cguro kada day...
usually mga mp3, manga and also mga anime.. lisod store them in a HDD kay u'll never know when mo crash... awww....
