Friendly advice - if you're saving money yet buying a movie/music/game product as a gift for someone this X'mas, it's best to buy original. You would not want to give something super cheap and fake as a gift.

There are lots of DVDs and VCDs on sale nowadays.

I heard that some local caterers, who reportedly visited these forums, are worried that they won't make much money this X'mas. Perhaps they read this thread?

Frankly speaking, if I were to invite some people for X'mas or holiday meal, I would not go to these caterers. I'd rather cook, or order something, or a combination of both - all within a limited budget.

splurge siguro ko ron, as usual, especially on the no. of people na akong tagaan. bisag ginagmay lang basta makahatag sa kadaghanan. relatives nalang daan ay, tagak na pitaka. sige man lang crisis ang pilipinas, pero i'd rather think of myself as blessed if i'm able to give. who knows, basig yataps nako before next christmas...or before this christmas for that matter...hehehe

    It's December already.

I definitely won't be spending much this holiday. I don't care if the local caterers will offer discounts.

    I'd rather save money.

    How about you?

    hahah
sometimes its really amusing to have come up with a subjective question like this.
but then its a forum and everyone is entitled to it.

    bdway
if you have the money to burn then why not?
if you have a limited budget (which all of us have) then be practical
just because the name christmas is more synonymous (and I thought as dominant Christian country) to shopping and spending your gonna have to do so in tradition.

lisod bitaw ni atong pagka colonial mentality even if nag lisod. hala sige gasto just for image sake

    now LETS GO SHOP!!!
