I went here before mga 2007 para vacation...it was one of my plans to go back to Thailand and work...when I got here derecho ko og train for TESOL for certification since I am not a teacher and grabe ang competition with native speakers. After the training that is the time they helped me look for a job and good thing after sa training, naa na dayon ko job.

Now I am changing my visa to Non-B since dili allowed ang Tourist Visa while nag work...dakpon ka...and yes the school will provide work permits for you as long as legit nga school....

with regard to visa requirements, upon going to thailand, do you really need to have a tourist visa? or its just like singapore na you can just go there as a tourist even without a visa?

1 hour ra difference brad sa BKK, una sila ug 1 hr same sa SIN.

You dont need tourist Visa to go to BKK, tatakan ra passport but naay number of months valid then overstaying naka.

Almost pareha ra ang sweldohan deri Pinas but 1.3 lang ang ilang conversion. Barato pud ang pagkaun sa thailand. Apartment/ condo rates are just the same here.. Hayahay didto if you are hired consultant/managerial position or expat sa big companies coz maayo sila muhatag ug benepisyo...

tatak ra ang first month but after your first month ma expired you need to extend your stay...its either you go to any border apply for tourist visa multiple entry aron taas2x imo time for non B nga visa...

as much as possible you should be able to check on your passport coz mahal kaayo ang per day sa overstaying hehehehe...

Bangkok right now is a bit strict already since daghan tourist nga nag abuso ani...but as of now ang tourist visa is FREE until march 2010...so if mag apply ka you will save 1500 baht man siguro to for tourist visa...non immigrant B for workers cost 2000 baht....

You need to look for cheap apartments here...I am staying in a condo, complete with kitchen, living room, bath and a bedroom. everything is all centralized but of course hinay2x lang gamit sa electricity. I also have my own balcony for laundry...I am just paying 3000 baht conversion 4000 pesos in cebu...so meaning you can look for cheap apartments here...nga nindot ang place.
there are some kay 6000 to 10000 baht ang apartment then wala pa jud gamit ang place as in empty and wala pud aircon so just spot lang jud asa mas nice...naa pud uban condo nga barato but gamay pud kaayo naa ra jud na nimo...
