Very effective. Boost my confidence physically and mentally.

I really can't define divine intervention.
so it is really more psychological in nature than anything else.

Meditation can be likened to an energy booster. For so long we humans have been using our material eyes. In Meditation as our eyes are closed, we are shaking the inner man inside to wake up.

Mystics believe that we are Spirit/Soul with a body and not a body with a soul. Only, the inner man or the Soul is asleep. and because it is in sleep mode the eye of the Soul is close. We need to Awaken the inner man for the eye to open. and when it is open, the Man is being ushered into a different world that has been there waiting to be discovered all these years.

Meditation can help us discover this inner world that i have mentioned.

^well, meditation can help us see the unseen....enlightenment.

Meditation is the attuning of the mental and physical body to your/our spiritual source.

Meditation allows us to obtain information on any subject and the answer will come from within.

Meditation is the way to at-one-ment with our Maker.

    this is really interesting.

naa ko question. when u wake up and just sit outside your house and listen to the birds and the stillness of the morning, does that qualify as meditation? or you have to have a ritual of some sort?

Just being a spectator of "Whats going on" outside & inside of you qualifies real meditation.
What you are doing is already a form of ritual, an aid to "stillness".
yes its always best early in the morning, two things: first the environment is still serene & secondly your "conditioned" you is still not much operating w/ all the worries, concerns, etc.

The petitional Prayer is not meditation, whether audible or mental.
The repetitive prayer is not meditation, whether audible or mental.
Meditation is like "coming home", like tuning in to your natural frequency.
Meditation is not analysis, meditation is not positive or negative thinking,
Meditation is not, with reference to our usual daily mental activity.

Meditation is what is,,to see, hear, smell things as they are & not as we want them to be.
If thinking is= i am this, i am that, i need you, i dont need you, i like this, i like that, i hate you, I love you,,etc.

    Meditation is= I AM
Initially its an effort to "lower" the activity of the 5 senses; aligning them so to say & mindful only in the "NOW"

After meditation often times you will feel so relaxed & light, hence tingling sensation is normal.
There are people who would capitalize the after effect of meditation by sending healing or positive thoughts to their love ones. And it is said that the projection of ones thought while still envelope by a sense of joy & benediction is so strong that it will really create effect as to the motive of the cause.

right, meditation is all about blanking ur mind. setting ur mind free.,

not thinking aboiut what u want or what u fear about.

every second everyday our minbd is always busy interpreting . our subconcious working 24hrs a day.
    even at sleep during dreaming.

u can always have the choice to make ur mind at still. like a water being still.
a huge amount of energy can be conserved . which can be focuse later on.

our mind doesnt stop questioning, translating , responding to stimulos.
whatever, until u can lose sight of ur main purpose.

u can actually control pain if u want it. try to pinch ur skin and try to have the choice u want whether to feel the pain or not. u have the choice,

this also apllies to NLP . neuro linguistic programing
phobia are caused by trauma's from past experieces.
