Blind faith, intolerance, discrimination and prejudice are the side effects of religion.

Some very religious people tend to think of others negatively only because they (the others) have different religious and social beliefs.

Some very religious people tend to greet others "God bless." or "God bless you." very openly. This mentality is discouraged at a certain major call center for good reasons - people of different cultures and faiths may not be receptive to such a greeting.

Some very religious people tend to let their religious beliefs affect their work and let their religious bias be part of what they do. Imagine a Catholic person assigned to work on two posters and write down promotional lines - one promoting a Christian event while the other promotes a non-Christian event. In most cases. the worker will work better on the Christian poster than the other one. Such religious bias can cause business relationships to sour.

With these side effects at hand, it is always best to remember that their is such a thing as Secular Law.

on the books you mentioned, di man kaha ko magnosebleed ana? simple minded ra ba ko. i'll look for them sa nbs. timing kay nagsale.

i don't think the reading the bible is a lame suggestion. i'm currently reading a book on egyptian religion, di sad ko sure sa veracity pero naa siya excerpts from the book of the dead. similar ra sa old testament. which makes me think that all human stories are pretty much the same with different interpretations

    god bless

    This is just your assumption.

War comes naturally to people. It existed long before any religion..isn't that what Darwin tells us?
Peace did not. Peace is not natural even in nature. It had to be taught and learned. And it was a religious idea.
