Cultural Revolution and change in Attitude ra gyuy maka tabang nato.
Kung mu huna2x para sa kabutihan sa atong nasud, as in kada tao gyuy mu sugagod para sa kaayuhan sa tibuok nasod and sa kada isa nato nga Pilipino, layu na kaau tag maabtan in terms of Progress.![]()
cultural revolution..? i dont buy that shit. we just need to implement our laws more strongly and be aggressive at anything like other countries do. not just demonstrating in the streets
Alang man sa'g patyon nimo siya'g katulo?!
We can't blame him, nadala ra to siya sa iyang emotion kay considering sa situation sauna nga bisag wlay giyera............ we are still struggling to be independent on the Political Arena............ mao nasulti to niya tungod sa iyang will and desire nga kita ang mudumala sa atong kaugalingong nasod........
At least we're trying to not let the Government be run like hell by greedy politicians...........
It's really sad how alienated you young people are at the reason why Manuel Quezon uttered that phrase. You have absolutely no idea how it is like to live in a country torn by war and revolution. You kids have gone SO SOFT, so ang inyong nahibawan ra tanan? Reklamo, reklamo, reklamo. Kamo nga addict nalang sa mass media, inyong mga Playstation, PSP, inyong mga DOTA, inyong mga gimmick-gimmick, inyong mga artista, inyong mga basketball players, inyong mga Havaianas, inyong mga Gluthathione, puro nalang palami, palami, palami, pabibo, pabibo, pabibo...you have absolutely NO IDEA what it was like...
...back in the 70's, as a toddler, I grew up in one of the most violent places in Mindanao, Lanao del Sur, and have experienced war first hand, battles in the street, bullets whizzing past and grenades exploding left and right...people dying left and right...so different from the type of life I see people lead here in Cebu City. You kids have gone soft. So you have NO RIGHT to talk like that about Quezon. Absolutely no right.
Ang sarap nyo pauumpigin at ipadala sa Basilan at Jolo, para mas ma-appreciate nyo ang katotohanan.

As if killing Manuel Quezon (again) would help. Nice thinking.
ok! alienated as it may but we can't also condemn them for that............
do we want the children to be born and grow up in a place where bombs are everywhere........... guns, shooting in all directions?............
yes, you may have grown in a war torn place but that doesn't mean you can tell them to go and live in Mindanao just to know the truth about war........
remember we're no longer in the Imperial Era where the strong is who is left......... we're in Globalization and intraregional cooperation. If there is war in Lanao...... that's their case and the Government is doing something.........
it's not the youth's fault they knew none of those?!

You totally missed the point of my rant. You seriously thought I actually want you guys to experience war first hand? *shakes head*
My point is, you should think of yourselves as LUCKY that you haven't been in such situations. You shouldn't feel jaded and wanting in your current lives--you should cherish every single day that passes by. A lot of people sacrificed their lives to let you experience all the good stuff you experience today, yet you don't even give them a HINT or a single iota of respect.
Of course I know that it's not the fault of the youth. I'm talking about TACT here--instead of showing disrespect to our founding fathers in these boards (by saying "we want to kill them" etc), why not offer your ideas for solutions to pave the way to improve our situation? Ganyan na ba talaga kayo katamad mag isip, or baka lang naman kasi "OMG, I'm late for my DOTA game!" or "OMG, naay gimmick kila pre karong gabii!" *shakes head*

Kinda like that............ I'm always late for my DOTA game..........
It's their choice if they wanna kill Quezon 3 times isn't it?
That's how they feel and how you feel is opposite so there's nothing to bothered about.......... It's Democracy!
Ok, we know they died for the country and so on............
But shouldn't we enjoy the freedom we experience right now? I love my freedom! I mean, I can tell them I wanna kill them as long as I want but can it happen? We respect them by experiencing the freedom they offered us........... it's just a dumb joke to say that we wanna kill him but I didn't say he shouldn't have lived.......... it's just adding some humor in the talk coz thinking about the problem too much makes us and me crazy..........
We're doin our best here to suggest good solutions but that doesn't mean we disrespect.......... for me, I respect them because though in a simple way......... I am giving an effort in solving a problem that they haven't because the prob is just recent..............

I don't find the idea of killing people (nor disrespecting them) humorous.
I suggest you try harder.
Again, please re-read the definition of democracy.
"...your freedom ends, where the freedom of others begin."
If anybody doesn't understand this statement, please do tell me and I shall kindly explain.
