during the warranty period, ang yamaha vega is to be subjected to oil change when the odometer displays 500km, then sunod change oil kay 2000km, then 4000km then last is 6000km. after the warranty change oil period, wherein libre ang labor nya ang oil ra imong gastuhan, you will now have to be responsible enought to get an oil change for your vega for every 2000km, not 500km. it is recommended that yamalube is to be used during the warranty period change oil.

break in period is not to be confused with the warranty oil change period. ang break in period is intended for the cylinder and piston nga mo.fit sila snugly during the initial operation of the engine mao until 1000km. ang warranty oil change period kay intended na cya to replace lang the oil which may have small metal chips from the cylinder and piston kay "virgin" pa baya ang engine. those metal chips, though small, can damage the engine internals so it is recommended nga ilisan ang oil during the first few hundreds and thousand kms.

as for the 2000km periodic change oil. recommended mileage ra na cya sa majority of mechanics and the more frequent you change oil and change filter, the better. ako ad2 lang ko sa every 2000km kay maapiki nya akong budget. haha. gentle driving ra man nuon ko so ok ra kng every 2000km.

try lang na ug latos2x imong motor bai.. mas maayo mag long distance ride jud ka aron dili na mabunol imong makina.. every gear from 1-4 e sagad gyud..

giunsa man diay na nimo pagbreak in sir? kay akong vega pagbreak in nako ani, kutob ra jd ko 50kph nya gamiton jd nako tanang gear. nya smooth shifting jd dapat. basin naay gamay na oil mosulod sa imo cylinder mao mo.aso inig start. i suggest you have it checked sa yamaha service center jd sir then adto lang pud pa.change oil og patune up nya ang gamita nga oil kay yamalube lang jd. my vega ZR is a year old na but wala pa jd ni nagkaproblema bisan kausa because of the periodic maintenance.

@cptn_star-sa norkis man nako ni kuhaa sir.adto ra sad ko nag pa change oil.pagkuha nako ani mc nako, kay byahe dayon lipata-mepza everyday.ako gear kay 40-60 ra jud.kaduha ra ko nakaabot ug 80 nya mga kaupat pa ko naka abot ug 70 sukad pagpalit sa ako mc.pugong man kaayo iya dagan gud.pag sunday, didto mi sa simala.from lipata to sanfernando 40 ra ako dagan.from sanfernando to simala kay 50 na.pag uli namo,vary na siya 40-60.
