Frankly, money.

Choosing money is just being realistic. It doesnt mean that im a gold-digger. My parents sent me to the best school, i came from a good family, all that i want and need are provided for me. In fact, i can say that im pretty spoiled. So why would i give myself a headache and entertain guys who cannot afford my lifestyle? Im just wasting my time and effort.

It doesnt make sense na you're already in "this" level and then, munaog ka. Our parents want the best for us. So, it's only realistic that we marry someone of our own monetary status or better, mas taas pa nato. 'Coz mao nang goal nato tanan, di ba? To reach whatever our parents have reached based on accomplishments or even higher.

For me, it's an insult to our parents to settle for less. And it's not being materialistic or being gold digger. 'Coz what i want and need, i can pay for it on my own. Im not gonna be one of those women who pays for dates. Im traditional that way.
