I don't that's the case sir. Religion is just an organization run by people who tried to be saint. Being one of them makes me realize how critical to discriminate personal beliefs. No one ever said to impose what you believe to others... things got outta hand when people are too self-righteous when it comes to their own religion.

I am a catholic and I believe in God... if they think that my belief is different from them... I don't really mind what they think because they are not the ones who is going to save my own soul but me.

oh..i know you're not one of the blind devouts who just devour everything without ever thinking...maybe the majority is the self-righteous ones...i can still see their cringing face whenever they encounter "unbelievers"..worst still they frown maskn nag catholic pero lahi lang ug kampo...that's so sad

hehe!! i never mentioned regnauld's name in my last post..cguro regnauld fits the description but im not going to say or judge nga mao najd na ang style sa pamisar niya...pero i don't deny nga sometimes ingon ana si regnauld mudala ug istorya..pero even that judgement is purely subjective sa akoa..so still it's debatable kai ang akong conclusion based rman pd sa akoang nabantayan which is subject for scrutiny pa pd..unless ato ipa analyze si regnauld ug usa ka expert or whatever to come up with an accurate generalization sa style sa iyang paminsar....in short...usahay mu fit usahay dli..that's why i never gave him special mention or whoever man..kai bacn ako pd diay ang naai problema kai wla ako na misinterpret si regnauld..

I think we only have a clash of terms here. It's probably best to define what they (atheism, agnosticism or a believer) are so we have a common ground as to whether or not one can be called an atheist or agnostic, etc.

Like a standard criteria for the terms? Ts never bothered having that...

I guess the thread title is already problematic. Because it presupposes a Believer to be one who believes in (a) god. To be a believer is not exclusive only to questions of faith.

Well that was the whole idea was. Presupposition of who we are, see how mr. chad tuke decided that he belong "somewhere in the middle". lol

..the hell.. it doesn't matter..

What matters is that we don't expense others prerogative for our own happiness and knowledge..
we always differ in our beliefs and there's nothing we can do about it coz it's their beliefs..

.. and I don't have any problems to any people having other beliefs other than mines..

that's good.. at least you know how to respect other peoples belief..

@chad_tukes, Yes that "agnostic atheism" exist in your mind as a thought and because you have yourself as a proof, the only thing needed to do, is to avoid conflict by making it agree to the generally agreed individual meanings of agnostic and atheism and paving the agreed articles between the two. Hard task or just be either of the two.

it's not just a thought but that is what i am and that's where my belief system stands. it's hard to agree to generally agreed individual meanings when a combination of each exist.

And I believe He is somewhere in the universe creating new galaxies.
