me and my gf have been together for five years already. During the first few years of our relationship, she suggested if we can open a joint account but I refused. But as we get to know each other I became confident nga dili siya mo take advantage of me should dissolution of the relationship becomes inevitable. So we opened a joint bank account but we keep records on each of our contributions.

we also have some properties we owned from pooling our resources together. If were not really meant for each other, I would be happy to give all of those things to her, I just hope she'd be happy with them.

wow.. how nice. i think applicable ni siya to couples who truly love and trust each other. trust in a way nga no matter if mag buwag pa sila, one is confident that one will NEVER EVER take advantage of the other. i think complicated man gydu mag joint account ba but it's not true that it's always bad and never works. depende ragyud siguro sa level of your relationship.
