Actually, I haven't been to an IMAX theater but my friend has seen one and he's getting this what they call "tennis game spectator" effect where you have to move your head to see the entire sreen.. So in the end you'll be missing lots of details..

so in some cases MORE IS LESS....

I beg to disagree.. I've watched the same movies on both the regular screen and IMAX theaters and I'll tell you based on my experience that you'll notice some details of a given movie shown in IMAX that you thought didn't exist while watching it at the regular screen. the clarity of the video and sound is just way much better and basically worth the difference of the ticket price. all I can add is: "just watch your favorite action flick in IMAX" before making a conclusion.. I won't blame you if you'll get hooked.. 'coz I did.

Im not going to spend money if its too expensive. Maypa sa ordinary nalang ko nga sinehan kay barato pa.

not really. if you notice the price for adults in Cinemark IMAX it's $11.00 while it's $7.25 at their regular theater.

please don't convert US dollars to pesos 'coz I'm just making an example here that there's a 50% increase from regular to IMAX.
