@gypsy wen ka niadto sa london...well plan to go to europe kay naa man ngadto ako miga sa sweden i have a friend sad sa ireland...wer manka kuha ug visa...galing lang save sa money kay no budget pa sa karon...hehehe

i got my UK visa in 2002 twa's pretty easy and straight forward back then mam pero karun wala lang ko idea mura US embassy system naman cguro cla where in you need to phone in for interview schedule. Once you get the visa you can visit the rest of great britain ireland, scotland,england and whales. I havent been to sweden though.

you didn't have an interview when u get your visa...did you know someone from uk or you just apply directly from embassy...kay usually gud need manka invitation from somebody living in a country you wish to visit...thanks again for answering my question...hope you can post some of your pics in london too...

Mam, depende na cya sa type of visa you are applying for, invitation letter is only helpful if you are travelling via a sponsor or someone is paying your trip and providing accomodation. If your purpose if to join a tour or purely holiday gyud you wont need a sponsor or invitation letter kay it can be a ground for refusal bec. they might think na your going there to overstay since you know someone there. However if your going on a tour you have to prove to them that you are capable of financing your trip which in this case they will require your bank cert/bankbook copy/ITR/employment cert or business cert etc basta financial docs.
Should you decide to apply tourist visa via sponsor you will then need to produce ties with your friends legally living in UK in such event the requirements stated above isnt necessary na coz its your friend whose providing them base on the consul request. So dont mix these up mam. better determine what way you would want to go there as there are many ways depending on what suits you.

@enlighten...i do not know if you wanna keep the discussion to the places you wanna visit...or interested sad ka with others...i have been to barcelona sad...so i can post a few pics next time if you want...this time...i wanna introduce Prague, Czech Republic.....pag ka nindot nga place....especially ako nahan kaayo ko gothic cathedrals...cobble stones....etc etc....ang St Charles bridge...quite impressive...anyway
