If you as a teacher violates this rule.. you are no more like some seducer or pedophile, wanting to just undermine the innocense of your student.. Shame on you nalang! There is no justification of you falling in love with your student because the fact is always there that you.. of all things is born long ahead than your student was.. and you should of all things, know that loving someone under your jurisdiction and care tantamounts to disrepecting your student and the profession you have dearly swore oath for.

You are also undermining and putting shame to most of the teachers out there who have showed what education is all about and in turn their students have grown to love them more as their second parent outside their respective homes...
    My own lang..
maybe you had the point. but are you really sure that this situation degrades the dignity of being a teacher? i don't think so. do you really think that teacher's who are in relationships with their students were after for something that is not right? oh please. you don't know everything that's going on inside that relationship so you should've not tend to be that judgmental. i'm sorry to say that but that's what i think. and also, you said, undermining and putting shame to other teachers? hmm. it is the other teacher's responsibility and choice what to feel. if they'll feel shame, hard luck on them. well, they can choose to be happy for the teacher who is in relationship with a student. if in case they disagree to that circumstance, they'd better be silent than to spread anything nonsense from their mouths.. they're causing themselves to be prone to sin. huh.. not that teacher guy who is related to his student. so, they'll have the harm. before they say anything, i think YOU should've at least thought of questioning YOURSELVES. "WHAT IF YOU WERE IN THAT SITUATION? WHAT IF THAT WOULD REALLY MAKE YOU HAPPY?" i think that maybe as long as i couldn't harm others and would not step in any other's foot, then i would follow my heart.

    P.S.
THAT IS JUST MY POINT OF VIEW IF I WERE IN THAT SITUATION.

    thanks.

In our society today...this is still a norm but the reality is these things are happening. I know for a fact a situation like this, its our neighbor, she is a high school teacher and she fell in love with her student. their age gap is around ten years. there are so many hindrances in their realtionship from the beginning specially on the side of this teacher's family. Her family also reach to the point of shutting their home's door to this poor teacher which the only mistake she made is falling in love with her student. there is too much pressure also on the school where he teach as they are all saying this is immoral. they make this an everyday gossip in the school campus and this poor teacher don't mingle with her co-teachers anymore to avoid tensions. to make the story short, this teacher and the student continue with their love against all odds...at first they suffer too much from peoples judgement but in the end they are accepted...with her family and the school where she is teaching. they are now married with two children.

wow, this story is a "WOWER" for me. i think that it is truly an inspiring example.. don't you think so?
i think, that's how magical love is. it makes us more courageous to face any obstacles without even noticing that you are doing something na pala.. it's the urge, the desire, the passion, and the determination in staying in that relationship that keeps them alive and strong. i believe that they're happy right now after all those challenges..

yup. attraction is really a common thing.
i think it is inevitable. but temptation is there..
for me, nothing is really wrong about it.
if people would think that it is unethical,
it is there choice. they can believe what they want to believe.
but mind you, they shouldn't bother any other's lives.

Yup, they are happy right now...because they are accepted. they still face many problems in life like what normal husband and wife is facing but the thing is they are together because they fought for their love. Me personaly was inspired by their love story thats why I shared this one.

    so.
    anyone who agrees/disagrees with me?
    state your point of view.
you know sis i agree with you its not a SIN as for me as a catholic onsa my naka sayop anang dapita ang student will love the teacher and the teacher will love the student both of them actually age doesn't matter and that situation of relationship is not bad its your happiness kama-o sad gyud ka sis onya agree sad ko nimo
